The staff and students all make you feel welcome, appreciated and at home. I haven't' started classes yet but the registration process was a snap, all thanks the the personal attention I received. I know I'm not just a number at TU but an individual. All of the staff I have had to deal with know who I am, my situation and are eager to help with whatever questions I have. If you're thinking of becoming a student here, just stop by for a visit. It really is an amazing campus and it's filled with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I will update my review after I have finished my first Semester at TU with impressions and experience.

I first got involved with them in Houston, where it was founded back in 1994. When I moved to Tulsa and was looking for opportunities to get more involved in the community, I was thrilled to find KIPP here. Their mission is to create a classroom that helps children develop the knowledge, skills, character, and habits necessary to succeed in college and build a better tomorrow for their communities. KIPP Tulsa College Preparatory opened in 2005 and is located in north Tulsa. The program now serves more than 320 students in the 5th through 8th grade. The average 5th grader enrolls at KIPP Tulsa 2 to 3 grade levels behind in math and reading. It is their mission not only to catch its students up to grade level but to prepare them for success in high school and college as well. Teachers customize curriculum that focuses on the necessary remediation and higher order thinking processes. This ensures that all students are challenged to reach their full intellectual potential, and that every student is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in college and in life.
