I've seen a few therapists over the past 15 years. I highly recommend this practice, mainly for the simple fact that there are quite a few therapists to select from and they all have varying areas of expertise or styles based on clients' needs. I began seeing a therapist, but it was clear that we were not a good "fit". I easily switched to a different counselor, and I'm very happy. Everyone from the counselors to the receptionists have always been kind and professional. They even send appointment reminders via text. Sometimes it's the "little things" that count. I have recommended this practice to a few friends who are in search of support. I'll continue to do so. Having good mental health support options is so very important, and this practice provides that. read more

They were really nice and the office was pleasant. However, I had to get a few second opinions based off of what their result to my ADHD testing was. First, like many, I had to wait 2 months for testing. This I think is relatively normal in the area, I called several offices trying to get in sooner but couldn't. However, after the testing, I was basically told my intelligence scores were too high to have ADHD. This seems...a bit ludicrous. As an adult I've spent years making up for symptoms and trying to find ways to test better. I also have a family history of ADHD and have learned tips from family members. They said my personally reported symptoms sounded like ADHD but my test scores were above average so I should work on concentration. Concentration. Thanks, I've been trying to do that for years. Went to two other offices and was diagnosed with ADHD by both, so I'm taking their opinions. Maybe since ADHD/Adderall is overdiagnosed/prescribed they're unwilling to diagnose people who can cope with their symptoms? Not sure. I can tell you now being medicated, I've never felt so peaceful or able to focus, it's been life changing. If something feels off, get a second opinion. read more

This review is in two parts. The first part is for my teenage daughter's regular therapist, Rhonda. She does a solid job, and my daughter has never had an issue with her. She has been very personable to me, as well. My daughter will continue to go to InSight and see Rhonda in her regular visits, as I believe its making a real difference in her life. The reason that I can't give InSight a higher number of stars is their "ADD Testing" methodology and its associated therapist. First of all, we arrived ten minutes early for the test on a Saturday, there was only one couple in the office, and were not called in until a half-hour after our appointment time. Secondly, we were told the test would take 2-3 hours... it took 3 and a half. And third, we were told the copay would be $200, but when it came time to pay it, we were told it as $350. So, since 3 stars is "A-Ok" I'm going to have to settle for 2. Rhonda is 4 stars, easily... maybe even 5. However, my experience with the other doctor and the testing methodology (and lack of punctuality and veracity) would yield a solid zero. read more

I took my grand daughter to be tested for add and Dr. Shaw and her office staff were great. Dr. Shaw sat down with me and went over the feed back after the test results came back. She told me things to do with her to help do our best that she won't have to be on meds. I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

My daughter has been coming here for a few months now. Ms. Juggins is compassionate and made my daughter comfortable faster than I expected. I have noticed a positive change in my child and I cannot thank her enough. The front office staff is nice and competent with any concern I have. read more

I called to make an appointment for my son. I was told that I had to wait a week or so to just to HEAR back from them just to schedule an appointment ( this should have been the BIGGEST red flag). I waited and never received a call or any sort of communication. I had to then call them to check the status just for them to tell me they do not have anything for another 2 months. You could have told me that the first time I called. I own my own business and this is just poor business practice. read more

Horrible experience. First appointment was a horrible experience. Dr. started appointment by not introducing herself with a hand shake or warm greeting but simply informed me that I had not completed some paper work. The Dr. never stood up but chose to remain seated and continue to stare me down while waiting for me to complete ten plus pages of paper work to be read and signed. I asked if the paper work could have been sent so that I could have brought it with me to the first appointment. I was told that no papers leave the office, however when asked for copies of the papers I was told I would receive copies on my next appointment, But why? There was clearly a copier in the office. Needless to say, the appointment continued to go down hill. I did not leave my child with the dr. and intern on the first visit nor was I told ahead of time that this was the expectation. I think the staff and the Psychologist we met was great. Our daughter was tested on a Saturday which is not a normal business day for them but the Psychologist came in to work with our schedule. We were shocked on how young the doctor looked, but she was very professional, knowledgeable and has a great rapport with our daughter. After testing our daughter asked to come back because of how good her session was. I would recommend this service to anyone who is in need to talk to someone or have questions about their child's behavior. I made this account just so I can say how happy I am with them. If they had a tv in the waiting area it would be 5 stars. read more

We had a scheduled first-time appointment here for our daughter. We were eager for our daughter's psychological evaluation. We arrived at our scheduled time a few minutes early thinking someone would be there to greet us, get us checked in, etc. However, the door was locked, no one answered the phone, so after 10-15 minutes of waiting we left. We were disappointed to say the least. About 15 minutes after our scheduled appointment time, we received a phone call asking where we were. The person on the other end was apparently the Psychologist. As we were leaving the parking lot we did see a car pull up, a female stepped out, after our scheduled appt time, and this person was chatting on the phone. We thought to ourselves, this couldn't be the Psychologist, but apparently it was. In our opinion, it is very disconcerting to a prospective first-time patient and customer to arrive to an appt for psychological services to an empty building, much less to have the licensed professional who is supposed to be helping you waltz in (late) thinking nothing of it. If you have a scheduled patient appt at 9am, the professional should arrive at least 30 minutes PRIOR to the scheduled patient's time. It is very, very unprofessional to say the least to be late, much less to arrive chatting on the phone and then to call the clients as if THEY were the ones at fault. No apology, no explanation on their part ..... We do not recommend these services and will never go back. read more
