A virtual appointment scheduled but the time it took place was while I was in the car with my parents and brother so I couldnt talk loud and I was as calm as any person could be. I requested a medication I knew would help and the provider/ therapists didnt agree. I calmly voiced my opinion that I didnt agree with what she was offering and she began to talk to me rudely and making unprofessional remarks like "you can always go somewhere else" I remained calm and continued to disagree with her, apparently she couldnt take me (a Black Male) rejecting her professional opinion and not stooping to her level of unprofessionalism so she hung up. (Now that part pissed me off) Regardless I didnt raise my voice or anything to this woman and she hung up and she was the one being rude and unprofessional. I called back angrily (as anyone seeking help would if they were treated that way) I was told a Supervisor would call me back so I could make a formal complaint (never happened) but I did recieve a letter from them today saying they were terminating our patient/ provider relationship based on the behavior and profanity and threats made. But I didnt make any threats. Remember I'm in a car with 3 other people going down the road none of them heard threats or me even raise my voice until she hung up on me. To me this has racist vibes all over it, she needed an excuse for her actions and played the " he was an angry Black Man card" Regardless of her actions the staff should have had enough professionalism to reach back out to me to hear my complaint. They didnt and for a Business that claims they care about peoples Mental Health this is totally UNACCEPTABLE. That appointment that the provider hung up on me they charged me for that so I will be calling the BBB and whoever else to get my money back. In my opinion if you have any Mental Health needs DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL.

The staff were excellent at explaining the test and were patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. When checking out, I was informed that my next appointment could not be until 4/14 and I booked said appointment. - AFTER LEAVING THE CENTER 20 minutes later, I was informed through text that I would have to come back in for another QB test?? On 4/7 and have my meeting with the provider a week after because the two appointments "had to be close together". - Had I been informed of this issue previously I would not have made my first (or any) appointment.

I think the parking deck was closed today (free valet parking available) but other than that parking is not an issue. Communication and customer service is good. They get my results back in a timely manner. Also, I take advantage of the patient portal to look at my medical history. And needless to say, another good experience today. Dr Polite takes his time to discuss my health and make recommendations (ie more physical activity), and he has a great sense of humor. My rheumatologist referred me to this practice to pursue weight loss drugs that have helped her other rheumatoid arthritis patients with severe inflammation and pain issues. My initial appointment here was in October with Dr Varadarajan (aka Dr. V). I spent most of the time filling out papers. I explained my situation and she told me I'd have to have a physical and it would be January when I could get that appointment. Between Oct and Jan, I got worse, developed a rash, gained a whopping 12 more pounds and became depressed. At the appointment in January I was presented with the same paperwork to fill out. When I told them I had just done it all in October, the staff member snapped that "October was last year". Again I filled it out and when Dr. V came in, it was like she never heard of me, which I understand in a way, but don't you read about who you are about to see? I explained all over again what my issues were and she asked me if I have a rheumatologist. I was shocked as I knew my rheumatologist had sent her messages on my behalf and test results. I showed her my rash, which she said was probably an allergy. The entire time, Dr. V went on and on about referring me to other Eagle services at other locations and tearfully I finally said "when can we talk about what I want to talk about? I want to talk about my pain and serious need for weight management". She told me "this is your physical appointment, if you want to talk about other things, you need to make another appointment." With me in tears, she just walked right out of the room and didn't come back. I booked the quickest next appointment I could get two weeks later. After a couple of days, staff member called and told me I had bad LDL and low vitamin D from the blood test at my physical and they were calling in a D prescription. When the next appointment rolled around I was presented again with paperwork to fill out and Dr. V again had no idea who I was or what I wanted. She never discussed what to do about low vitamin D, check on my rash or discuss my high cholesterol. She told me to exercise. I was very upset and told her people with rheumatoid arthritis can't just jump on a treadmill and weight loss drugs, prescribed FIRST, successfully get their mobility back in many cases so that they can begin exercise. Dr. V. told me I needed to go to a weight loss management clinic which again is an Eagle Physicians business. Dr. V did finally write the prescription I so desperately wanted, but my insurance declined it, stating my test results didn't indicate I have diabetes. Who ever said I had that? Did Dr. V's office not communicate the real reason? The next week, I got a call from Dr. V's office that I owed extra money for my January appointment for talking about arthritis, weight loss and depression!!!!!!! I disputed it, saying if that were true, why did Dr. V make me schedule another appointment to discuss it? They re-evaluated the bill and later informed me I owed it because I got help for low vitamin D!!!! I find this all to be an outrageous failure of reaching out to a doctor for serious help on the advisement of another doctor and being used to generate multiple appointments and referrals for maximum money from me. Oh, and that rash turned out to be psoriasis. Whatever positive reviews about this doctor must be from her family members. Dr. Varadarajan has the least empathy of any doctor I have ever met in my almost 60 years of life. She doesn't prep for appointments and has an agenda of sending her patients to other Eagle Physicians offices. I have canceled all appointments with Eagle Physicians due to this. I no longer trust that this isn't their business model.

I enjoy coming for adjustments and hope to improve my neck issues soon. Even better is the fact that Dr. Schwartz is a functional medicine specialist so he can also help with auto immune issues and things other than just chiropractic care. Love their emphasis on holistic wellness and especially nutrition as one of their 5 Essentials.
