I rarely need to go to the doctor, maybe once a year, but almost every time I've called he's been able to squeeze me in on the same day. His office is right next to the Tempe hospital, so it's very convenient to go down the hall to urgent care if necessary. Another bonus is that if you go a few blocks in either direction along Mill Ave, there's a Walgreens and a CVX close by to fill your prescriptions He takes a very holistic approach to healthcare, and really tries to get to the root of the problem instead of throwing pills at you for a temporary fix. He is a talker though, sometimes a little TMI, but that's ok. He's very friendly, approachable, and is genuinely concerned for your health. The only downside is that because he's a talker, and because he will do everything possible to fit you in even if he's booked up for the day, the later in the day you go, the longer the wait you'll have after you sign in. That's a price I'm willing to pay to know that when I'm ill I can get in to see him

The staff were excellent at explaining the test and were patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. When checking out, I was informed that my next appointment could not be until 4/14 and I booked said appointment. - AFTER LEAVING THE CENTER 20 minutes later, I was informed through text that I would have to come back in for another QB test?? On 4/7 and have my meeting with the provider a week after because the two appointments "had to be close together". - Had I been informed of this issue previously I would not have made my first (or any) appointment.

They're often rude, don't mind lying, hanging up on you, deleting your appointment by accident, and other such mind games. The office itself is decent. It is always clean. The waiting room is sparse, and could use additional seating, especially if it was more comfortable, but that's just my preference. The one thing they don't do that gets me is offer free WiFi. I thought that was pretty standard everywhere today. The NP and other practitioners besides Dr. A have bits of attitude as many women of color, myself included, have. One drives a Porsche like a bat out of heck. She'll run you over and never look back. Once you get past the language barrier with Dr. A, he is a warm, caring, doctor that goes above and beyond for his patients. I've been seeing him a year or two. The office is hard to get to, but he is worth putting up with the awful help to get real results.

A virtual appointment scheduled but the time it took place was while I was in the car with my parents and brother so I couldnt talk loud and I was as calm as any person could be. I requested a medication I knew would help and the provider/ therapists didnt agree. I calmly voiced my opinion that I didnt agree with what she was offering and she began to talk to me rudely and making unprofessional remarks like "you can always go somewhere else" I remained calm and continued to disagree with her, apparently she couldnt take me (a Black Male) rejecting her professional opinion and not stooping to her level of unprofessionalism so she hung up. (Now that part pissed me off) Regardless I didnt raise my voice or anything to this woman and she hung up and she was the one being rude and unprofessional. I called back angrily (as anyone seeking help would if they were treated that way) I was told a Supervisor would call me back so I could make a formal complaint (never happened) but I did recieve a letter from them today saying they were terminating our patient/ provider relationship based on the behavior and profanity and threats made. But I didnt make any threats. Remember I'm in a car with 3 other people going down the road none of them heard threats or me even raise my voice until she hung up on me. To me this has racist vibes all over it, she needed an excuse for her actions and played the " he was an angry Black Man card" Regardless of her actions the staff should have had enough professionalism to reach back out to me to hear my complaint. They didnt and for a Business that claims they care about peoples Mental Health this is totally UNACCEPTABLE. That appointment that the provider hung up on me they charged me for that so I will be calling the BBB and whoever else to get my money back.
