Our expectations were not only met but exceeded by an astronomical margin. What some might see as a "deal killer" was to us the thoroughness of inspection that let us know exactly the kind of repairs and updates that were necessary for us to be comfortable purchasing an older home in the historic district. Kyle was flexible in working with our schedule so that my husband could walk the inspection with Kyle and see first-hand what challenges were in our path. Additionally, Kyle was willing to return to the home for a second inspection once the utilities were turned on in the home. Kyle explained each area in detail and provided pictures and recommendations for how to correct any issues. His report was thorough and detailed as well, helping us to negotiate the particulars of purchasing the home. Additionally, Kyle has provided us reliable resources to have the needed repairs completed. Kyle is a consummate professional. You will be remiss to call on anyone else for a home inspection.

The report seemed fine but once we moved in we realized the inspector missed many items- like the hot water heater draining into the wall- an obviously clogged drain pan for the condenser upstairs (that you can tell the ceiling right below it had previously been replaced too) live exposed wires under my stove as well as a rat infestation that was not noted and something you couldn't miss as there was mouse droppings everywhere just to name a few things. We learned a few things this move, but also we learned to shop around for inspectors. I appreciated how fast the report came back, but once we started finding all these problems I realized our inspection was rushed and this inspector just does the bare minimum.
