This company is a nightmare to get your money out. Beware. They charge a $300 management fee, but a hickup caused them to freeze my funds, and they would not distribute it out because the custodian I was going with did not provide "proper"documentation according to Inspira. I wanted to transfer to Webull which is large well known trading brokerage. So after they failed the transfer request, they froze my money with AMP broker, and I wasn't able to access it without doing an IRA early distribution. During this time my money sat in Inspira Account earning interest and at the end they charged me $360 for management of it and $100 to close the account. Don't trust this company. read more

They acquired my previous custodian who managed my Self Directed IRA accounts and since then it has been a nightmare to get any help from them on my accounts. First of all, you cannot get to the concerned department without pressing a bunch of numbers and then goring through a few people and few departments each time. It feels like one has to take a day off to get through one call. You can send them an email but then you still have to call them because they don't necessarily respond to the email. I really hate this company. Inspira started managing FSA account for our company. Unlike previous managing companies, it starts asking receipts for almost every payment. Payments were made for me and my family and only for medical, vision, and dental purpose only. However, they still ask receipts for those. My Health is Suffering Because They Blocked My Money I've been contributing $2,000 of my hard-earned paycheck to my healthcare spending account through Inspira, but they blocked my card over a $164 "overpayment" from last year--money that already came from my paycheck. That $164 was used for medical eyeglasses and a nail fungus treatment, which I needed. Now they want me to send them another check for $164, even though I'm still contributing to my 2025 plan. In the meantime, I can't see any specialists for my worsening health issues--from chest pains, eye pain, and back pain to mental health challenges and severe foot problems that make daily life painful. I'm barely living paycheck to paycheck. I don't understand how they think it's okay to block a person's own health money while they're suffering. It's not right. I have had a self-directed IRA for decades. I started with Sunwest Trust who were a small quality company. They were bought out by Millennium Trust who were larger and not as good, but still OK. Then Inspira Financial took over. While some of the people are helpful and kind, the place is overrun with foolish bureaucrats. I am noe trying to sell real estate held in my IRA. Where it was no problem with Sunwest or Millennium, these idiots are trying to make me jump through moronic hoops and threatening the transaction! Not to mention that their automated phone system is handled by artificial stupidity. It asks what you want but then understands nothing and tries to prompt you to visit their website. In addition to the website being the most horrible I have ever come across, the customer service people on the phone are demeaning and act like I owe them something (remember I am trying to retrieve my own money for legitimate healthcare expenses). Wait times on the phone line can be 40-90 minutes. The online account locks account every other time I try to login and then you have to get back on the phone line to get them to unlock the account. One customer service agent kept repeating the same thing even after me telling her that she is wrong, I have been using the service and getting into an issue and she was arguing with me that what I am encountering cannot be the case. When I asked her if she understood my english (English is not my first language and i was genuinely curious if I was not speaking clearly enough), she said she was demeaned by me asking that and just hung up on me. This a company from hell and if your employer is offering their services for FSA, I feel sorry for you, like I feel sorry for myself. Inspira has been incredibly difficult to deal with. In setting up a new account, there have been a lot of issues in getting the online access. Apparently the company issues a debit card and that is needed in order to access your account. Mine did not come in the mail. When I called the 1-800 number to request one - it was a bit of a production. Even though you enter prompts to access the online portal, they don't stick. You have to slow spell your name. I mean slow spell... In addition, the online system is awful. It uses very basic AI that cannot understand what you say. I would go with another company to keep your employees happy. It makes my head hurt to call and deal with this company. read more

Why you open a Company, when you can't review a card transaction. For every transaction you will ask submit document and threat to block the card. Even you upload the document they will not able to review properly, call them multiple time to explain. Now they said they overlooked y previous document and now I am good. My IRA was transferred here from my employer who shut down their business. I have been trying for the last month to get appropriate documentation validated at Inspira. I have had several calls w my receiving financial institution and each call we get different feedback as to what forms are necessary, which must all be submitted in paper form. I can get customer service rep on the phone but they are constantly having to put us on hold to check w the back office on the receipt and validity of the paperwork. We are in the process of sending a new set of medallion and wet signature documents and hoping for them to validate them as adequate at Inspira. read more

When trying to pay online, they remove the function if payment is ever considered late - you MUST mail payment. Additionally, outstanding balance isn't broken out anywhere. THE WORST Website + Customer Service. Their website looks like it was built in early 2000s. UI is horrible and documents are not up to date. 1. Document center has NO WAY to upload your required documents. I was forced to either send my personal documents via email or fax, while the letter stated that there is a way to upload it on the website. 2. Customer support agent insisted that there is a "upload your document" on the Account Settings. So I used "Share Screen" and the agent browsed through the account settings and didn't find anything. Then she stated that "oh I did not see your screen because we are not allowed to view it"... come on lady.. you were browsing while I was looking at my screen and I gave you the code for you to control my screen. 3. Tax document is not available. They still have 2023 documents in their tax document (PayFlex) documents, which is not updated and you can't retrieve your 2024 tax document. 4. I was on hold to speak to an agent, then I was connected to another customer who was waiting to speak to an agent. Lol this is a joke... Ive had several phone conversations with co representatives but havent solved my problem. Before Inspira, Payflex was great in processin my claims especially those submitted by my dentist. With Inspira, ive had nothing but trouble, delays in processing and even double-talk when submitting the same paperwork.
