I've been attending Inspire since 2012, and it's been the greatest decision I made (after my wife of course!). Inspire church and Pastors Mike and Lisa Kai have completely changed the entire trajectory of my life for what I believe is God's best for me and my family! I've met my best friends here, started my business bc of the favor of God on this house and Ps Mike's constant encouragement from platform. I don't know where my life would be right now had I not walk through the doors of Inspire Church in the Waikele Shopping Center back in 2012. I look forward to Sundays because I attended Inspirechurch ;however after many weeks/days and 10+ years worth of arise conferences, it no longer sits well with me after the matriarch of the church offers a new leadership path or ministry forward women's group that "cost money." So the women's conference is great, but "merch"'and an expanding venue to rake in more money vs a more intimate sanctuary. They preach weekly about the obedience of tithing to further the ministry, why then does the women's conference cost an arm and a leg?? Shouldnt the head female pastor be promoting women's conference so "all" can attend without taking a loan?? They have lost and no longer promote the most high as our father but rather as an avenue to personal wealth! Promoting, women against one another and wear your best to arise! Then their daughter posts daily about her run or her OT workout as she is married to a local artist. Is vanity not a root sin. I'm ready to move on to a more intimate environment focused on God and not riches and aesthetics. I said what I said...prove me wrong! read more

It was only my 2nd time attending in 2023 I was just standing in the cafe line. Next thing you know one of the members of the church came and introduced himself and invited me to play in their basketball ministry and just from that simple invite and saying yes. I've seen God move in my life more than I ever have, doors open that only he could open, and more blessings than I could've ever imagined. This church is a Mega Church, they take 30-35 minutes to actually start talking about the Bible. Beg you to give money for 5-10 minutes. Overall poor service and poor message. They accused my girl of having a weapon in her small purse, how embarrassing. The pastor is always cracking jokes and diverting from the Bible. So sad do not fall for this false gospel. read more

Absolutely wonderful series...Saints in the City. Today's message by Pastor DJ was extremely interesting and captivating! Mother Teresa was the featured Saint. I find her life story so interesting with her commitment to help those in need. The reminder of how she wholeheartedly gave her life to serve others is truly inspirational! This church is amazing for existing believers and even new believers! They offer childcare during Church Service and even a Family Area for parents who want to watch mass with their children within arms reach (this is to prevent tantrums or loud children from interrupting the service). They get you connected as soon as you come in with whatever resources your interested in. I personally asked for a Bible and received a free NIV New Testament Bible. On my first visit I was very emotional and their greater comforted me and even gave me a free latte from their coffee bar. Such loving people congregate here and I can't wait to get baptized If you are unable to attend the weekend services, don't fear, they post recordings of the services on their Youtube Channel so everyone can stay connected. Hello all, just wanted to let you know about a new church that I have started. It's called Inspire Church. We just moved to the island a few weeks ago and needed to find a new church. I actually heard about the church from a Lyft driver. She made an invitation and we went that following Sunday. It is a great welcoming church. Despite the size and all the people they were friendly and helpful navigating our first time. The live music at the beginning of the service was awesome. The musicianship was spectacular! The service was great. For the times we have gone, they are doing a service called "At the Movies". They play an abridged version of a movie and build a sermon off that movie. It's one of the most unique services I have ever been to. My kids have really enjoyed going too. My shy one has even enjoyed the kids area. I hope to see some of you at the church in the future. read more

Was up early this morning and thought I'd try out the early service. I did arrive a couple minutes late, however there was a shuttle that was circling the large parking lot to drop people off at the entrance. The reason that this is a 3star rating is because this would not be ideal to take someone in a wheelchair to. Stadium style seating take up most of this church. I was greeted at the entrance and ushers were there to guide me to a seat. Service started at 7:15 and I was in my car driving away by 8:15. Very short service. After service the band came back out to play music as people left. I felt so rushed to get out that I didn't hear the last bit of music. This is not a church I'd like to come back to. read more

This review is specifically for the Arise Women's Conference. Are you a woman of God or even seeking to get to know God? Do you need a refreshing of Jesus? Do you need to be surrounded by godly women!? Then this conference is for you!! This is my second time coming and it's just as amazing if not more amazing than the last. Pastor Lisa Kai and her team make sure you are welcomed, feel loved, and of course get closer to Jesus. This year, as you enter the door there's a team of people cheering for you with signs that say things like "You look amazing!" "It's going to be dynamite!" "Smile! It's conference day!" It just lifts you up after a long day of work. Also this year, they are streaming all the sessions for those out of state that still want to be be apart of the conference! So awesome! It seems odd to 'review' a church, as I would a restaurant or car wash. BUT, the world has gone mad and every little bit of insider info to steer Yelpers in the best direction is A-OK in my book. We began our journey with Hope Chapel inside the cafeteria of my son's elementary school in Waipahu. Mike and Lisa Kai were a few years into throwing every ounce of God Given strength into spreading the Word to our little spot on the Island. We moved away and came back five years later to find Mike Kai had stewarded Inspire into a transformation in name and mission. Inspire indeed! On VACATION in Hawaii over the years, we would shuck our beach clothes for shorts and make our way to a service at Inspire. It was the highlight of our trip, actually. Mike and Lisa are infused with a Godly mission and it is reflected in the church, the people, the Inspire congregants and all their actions. Traveling the world, trying to lay roots every two years, we came to value a church that from the top down to the parking attendants inspired a purpose and mission to spread and inspire Jesus in every word and deed. I am in absolute AWH of this church, everyone is so friendly and welcoming from the minute your feet are outside their doors, I originally only came here because a friend wanted me to check it out and she wanted me to meet her good friend, went for their 2020 women's conference and that was amazing! So many women in one room just to praise God and lift each other up, that's what I like to see! When the conference was over, me and my friend got to connect with so many women, who I found out aren't even from here but flew down just for this conference, and my friend introduced me to her good friend, pastor Lisa. LOVE Lisa! She is so sweet and outgoing, we talked for a while about life and the current church I'm going to and even about social media and how it can impact others, we also mentioned how we both have podcast and I got some amazing tips from her! (TBH: I thought they were gonna be aggressive and try to poach me from my church but total opposite!) Lisa offered to have lunch and do 1:1 with me as well as sit with her in church if I ever had a chance to come back for a regular service. I am still devoted to my main church, but I'm definitely encouraging everyone who needs to find their perfect fit to try Inspire as well. I still come back every so often just to meet new people and listen to their sermons and hear something new and different from my main church. 10/10 recommend! read more

Myles and I had been attending a Housechurch for about a year-and-a-half before coming to Inspire Waikele. From the time we were at the Housechurch and even our church before the Housechurch, we felt a pull to Waikele. But our minds and loyalties to the other churches kept us from venturing to Inspire. Thank goodness God has a lot of patience! We attended Inspire and loved it. How could we be so fortunate for God to call us to a Big Church? All of our former churches had been on the smaller side, so we thought we should look at more smaller churches. We tried looking at more churches for two more weeks, then just couldn't stay away from Waikele. We were talking at dinner and felt that God was telling us that souls were at stake, and there is an urgency to save those souls. Inspire is really where we "can fulfill our God-given purpose." I can't believe I haven't reviewed this church! Anyway, since we moved from SoCal last December I was looking for a church something similar to Cottonwood. I went to the following: My in-laws church...not for me New Hope...not feeling it yet Calvary Church in Waipio...no Krocs Center in Kapolei...nope ...then finally, I tried Inspire church in Waikele since it's just a block away from home and I couldn't ignore all their signs in the neighborhood. Plenty of parking but does get packed if you're a few minutes late so arrive early for good Peking spots. They do have shuttles too! Once I saw helpers leading directions on where to park, I knew already that this is THE church since it reminded me of Cottonwood parking lot with helpers directing you where to park. It's right next to a gym but once you enter...there are plenty of greeters welcoming you. The cleanliness, brightness...I felt right at home. Very organized with kids registrations, boys loved it! Techs, TV's, etc seemed all up to date...especially their website! The band, their own music is what got me. The church's music is so on point. The preachers are always on point and never boring. I love how they have outside events for all ages and they make you feel right at home. If you're still looking for a church, I totally recommend Inspire. See you there! read more

Can I just say I LOVE MY CHURCH! My family of 5 made a switch in June of 2016 after feeling like our time at our previous church was done. And I stand by that, and am amazed at all the amazing things I have learned via the pastors and servants at inspire. When you've been Christian your entire life it feels as if you know what to do what to say and so on. But I quickly learned that Inspire doesn't want people to be programmed. They simply want to inspire you to fulfill your God given potential. And the things that came with discovering that is so refreshing and purposeful. I feel like a born again Christian. The fire and passion for the things of the church is burning bright. And I'm happy to call this place home. It was a big and scary transition but the word week after week, spoke to my soul. The kids venture is so fun. My younger son had a hard time the first few weeks but the staff was so understanding. They worked with him and helped to ease his worries. Now, he won't stop asking me if it's church time yet. I love that my kids are having a heart for the Lord. And that they have kids, their age, who they can share that with. Yes, it's a big church. But getting connected and asking questions and getting to know people makes it smaller. And soon enough you def feel at home. Particularly, would like to say a big THANK YOU to our pastors Mike and Lisa. Although I don't know them personally, I'm glad they decided to take on the vision God blessed them with that is Inspire. Disappointed and Disgusted my 2 year old has a developmental delay and although its isn't physically obvious I expect staff to be more sensitive to these kind of issues. I understand that the ignorance of one person isn't an entire representation of the church but hopefully this post will have you screen your staff better. One staff approached my niece kindly and offered her crayons for making noise and a min later my son who takes a min to calm down wasn't given the opportunity to before another staff went out of his way to come up and told us rudely that we needed to keep it down. We all left instead because in a place where we thought we didn't need to worry about this insensitivity we were proven wrong. read more

This church is a nice facility comma they have an upbeat tempo and very nice amenities but it feels too much like a business and on more than one occasion I have felt unwelcome. As one day I brought in coffee and they were very rude about it and wouldn't let me in. Another day they did not even have hand sanitizer at any of the dispensaries even right next to the children's daycare area something so simple. Everywhere you look and everything you hear about this church is donate money to us give us money yes I know Hawaii is expensive but at the same time people need to stop making church so much as a business and bring it back to its original idea which is not to make people rich practice religion. My wife and I started coming to Inspire Church in January 2013. Never missed a day since. It's a healing church for all ages. So thankful for Inspire Church. My marriage is stronger because of it. Awesome activities and services for children infant to teens. Weekend worship and sermon services are awesome. Men's ministries, Women's ministries, Children ministries. Grow as an individual in Christ as well as a couple, family and group in Christ. Hung up on a bad habit or sin? Come to Celebrate Recovery on Mondays.
