It is very nicely appointed, with plenty of seating, and plenty of room. The marvelous display case faces you as soon as you enter. And it has some of the most amazing offerings you will find outside of the Mediterranean community. The coffee and beverage offerings are everything you would expect, plus many selections you would never anticipate. And the pastries on display are absolutely beautiful just to look at... Like art work. Your eyes will be screaming at you to buy it all and eat it immediately! My wife ordered an iced coffee with a pastry that was a combination of chocolate fudge and pistachio cream topped with a drizzle of caramel. So decadent... so wonderful! I had a fantastic Pistachio Latte (amazing) with something I have never seen outside of Sicily - "Frutta Martorana". It is a fabulous Arab/Sicilian pastry treat designed to look like real fruit. I didn't know what they had. I walked over to the cooler and grabbed two of the cold pressed juices which were okay. Then walked up to pay and saw they had 2 paper menus sitting on the counter but never noticed those. I ordered the avocado toast which was really good only $5 had some chili flakes on it but wasn't too spicy. Loved the avocado toast. Overall, the experience was just okay. I added a little sweetener that they had available (I think raw sugar) and took my tea to go. I got to sample a little Kava and Kratom upon walking in because I had never tried them before. The employee explained what they were to me because I had never heard of them. They are supposed to help with anxiety, stress, and mood. Kava is a root and Kratom comes from the leaves of a specific tree so both are essentially plants. After sampling them, both tasted very bitter to me so I didn't like it which is fine (haha). The Kava had a dirt or grainy texture and the kratom had a lighter but more bitter flavour. The employee did mention to me that both would taste bitter and earthy. I did not order any drinks with them upon sampling them but they sell an assortment of drinks that include Kava and Kratom. Customer service was friendly. If you like Kava and Kratom or want to try it then come visit this Sacred Waters Kava bar in Lakewood. It's not my preference. Either they don't blend the smoothie well enough and you get ice grits, or they blend the smoothie too much and you get watery juice with very little ice remaining. But not here! They perfectly blended my smoothie to the point where it was silky smooth while still retaining a frozen consistency. On top of that, the smoothie was extremely dense and packed with fruit. Overall, I would highly recommend BE Smoothie. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a place I would regularly visit.
