Our daughter was painfully shy, and had a difficult time speaking with other kids, and wouldn't even consider talking to other adults. A COVID kid through and through. She is a November baby, so she couldn't go into school until she was almost four, as she is past the October 1 deadline. Lucky for us, St. Luke's offers a 2.5 year old program structured like preschool for kids that would normally have to wait an extra year. Since starting at the Little School our child has blossomed. She is playing with other kids, talking to adults, and her vocabulary has doubled. Her teacher is so thoughtful and considerate, and they are always doing fun activities. She's regularly doing and saying things I had no idea she knew how to do or say! She also loves it, and says "I wanna go to preschool" every morning when she wakes up. We are so thankful for the Little School, and absolutely plan on keeping her enrolled until she enters kindergarten. They have totally changed our child for the better! If anything, I just wish she went more.

Even then he will do his before and after care at Primrose HR. We've been pleased all along. The school provides a well rounded curriculum that seems to start with the one year olds... that's what I want for my kids, exposure to math, language, art, science, music, etc. not a narrow curriculum focused on tech or any one area. Turnover is a problem at all daycares as far as I can tell and Primrose has had it's share but we have been lucky. My kids' teachers have been great! Ms. Sharon is adored and rightly so! She is amazing with both with the kids and the parents. Ms. Lisa is so tender and calming with my younger son and that's THE most important thing to me. I want a safe environment with loving care for my kids when I can't be there. Since a recent change of Directors the communication regarding staff changes and school events is much improved too. In addition to texts and letters regarding general school-wide info each child has a daily report which includes info on activities within each area of study, eating habits, bathroom habits, naps, customized notes to parents and photos of my kids having fun during the day. The teachers always have a story for me when I pick up my kids. It let's me know they are engaged with my children throughout the day. Childcare is an serious investment and I want the best. Home based daycare was a consideration since it is often cheaper. You can find some good providers especially prior teachers but waitlists are long and I worried about my young children getting lost with one caregiver and 10 children of varying ages. Also, if my kid's Primrose teacher is sick there's a fill in. It's much more reliable for working parents. Any small issues we have had over the years were quickly and kindly resolved with the administration. Primrose has been great for us. I have a feeling we'll miss the special care when we get to public school.

I have personally observed staff using phones during classroom hours instead of actively monitoring the children. A consistent lack of communication regarding my daughter's daily activities. Despite being told she participates in art daily, I have never received any of her work. A noticeable behavioral change in my daughter. She was previously comfortable and social; she is now fearful of returning and appears anxious around other children. When I ask about my daughter's day at drop-off or pick-up, I am often ignored or treated as though my questions are an inconvenience. Their staff is exceptional, no turnover, everyone knows every kiddo regardless of them being their home room teacher. They create such fun and well thought out activities for the kids. My kiddos have flourished since enrolling and I'm always raving about Imagine to new moms I meet who were also like me and skeptical on daycare. This was his first time being in a childcare setting and I wanted to make sure that not only did I trust that he would be cared for, but he would also be taught the fundamentals to give him a solid foundation in education. We were able to get it all at this school. My then 3 year old is now 5 and about to graduate from Kindergarten where he received one-on-one teaching and attention, which was tailored to where he is intellectually and emotionally. We had to spend extra time and money for a year to bring our child up to grade level so the school wouldn't hold her back. She didn't even learn the sounds of the alphabet after three years here! Once we knew she was suppose to have this skill by first grade, we taught her the sounds of the alphabet in two weeks. Still, her reading was behind the other kids and it took a full year to catch her up. After attending a graduation ceremony, we felt it would be detrimental to her self esteem if we held her back. When I told the owner, Lori and Director, Shawn, they didn't believe me. They said kids don't always show their parents what they really know. I had to demand they test her and when the owner did, she apologized because we were right. She offered to have one of their teachers work with our child, but since they couldn't get the job done in three years, we weren't wasting any more time here. We are involved parents. We attended their 5 day meetings about how Montessori teaches your children. We attended our parent/teacher conferences and when I voiced some concern over our child not being able to write her name, the teacher told me to "keep working with her". I wonder if the parents who are happy with this place are teaching their kids at home and it's not the "school" doing the teaching. After doing much research, we learned that this "school' typically didn't have the staff required by law for the number of students per adult. In addition, they clearly don't monitor the kids skill level. The education varies from class to class. Some kids are sent home with books to read, others are not. We now realize some of the "work" they gave us which we were told our child did, the teacher actually did. In particular, there was a map of North America which obviously wasn't done by our child. I found the owner, Lori and the Director, Shawn, to be unprofessional and rude (especially the owner Lori). The employees seem unhappy if you get to know them. This is more of a daycare than a school. I do not recommend sending any child here if you want them to learn the skills needed to be successful in the local public schools. They gave a good sales pitch, but they don't live up to it. I noticed Yelp removed the other poor reviews. I wonder if they'll keep ours up, which is true and we have receipts proving our child attended this "school". I then witnessed 2 boys tormenting a girl in a different class pretending to use light cabers as weapons as she lay on the floor covering her head. A teacher an aide as well as the asst director not paying any attention to what was happening. I was livid that this was being allowed or ignored and instantly said something so that the situation was addressed. I have been in education for years and would not allow this facility to watch any child. I wish I had known the little girls family so I could contact them and told them what was happening. Obviously there was no way we were using this daycare. I plan to pursue the issues with state. Please for your children Do Not use this facility and be extremely cautious when leaving your children in the care of others. My daughter in law had heard gold reviews of this location. Completely unfathomable! The other locations also withheld their deposits for waiting lists when they choose to question the level of commitment to children! Disgraceful on every level.
