Upon entering the store I was hit with a wave of pungent perfume. Once I regained my composure, I realized I was in a sea of white women; many of whom were radiating real "Karen" vibes as they say. We looked around for a while; none of the employees greeted us once, apparently, they'll only say hello if you're at the cash register. We even looked at items directly left to the registers and I looked over at them and they looked at me as if I was a vagrant. That's kinda funny considering I was wearing a very expensive jacket & had several hundred dollars in my wallet. In the end, they didn't have what my mom was looking for, so we left. I'm glad we did because throughout our shopping experience, I heard numerous customers make snide remarks about people in California and how they "need to go back where they came from" Bigotry has no place in Idaho!

Or as in this Thanksgiving Weekend when they are offering discounts on spendy denim and tees as part of the Black Friday and Small Business Saturday events. At end of season sales when they are selling the stray pieces from the store, the buys can be superb. See example photo of Eileen Fischer jeans about $178 full price on sale during their summer clearance for about $40. Keep in mind, clothing is not returnable here. So be sure before you leave the store that it fits. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: The Village...the primal parking scream you hear is mine. I recently tried to return a dress I purchased for prom that didn't end up working out. I had…read moreeverything required the receipt, the tag, and the dress itself and it had never been worn. It had just been sitting at home since I bought it. When I went to the store on the 14th day, which falls *within* the return policy timeframe, I expected a straightforward return. Instead, my experience was extremely frustrating. The employee at the counter was laughing at another customer before even taking the time to understand my situation. Then, without much consideration, she told me that my return could not be accepted because it was "past 14 days," even though I was there on the final eligible day. Because of this, I was denied my $80 refund for an item that was never used, which feels completely unfair and like a waste of money. On top of that, I had tried calling the store beforehand, but their phone appeared to be turned off since none of my calls went through. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The lack of professionalism, poor understanding (or enforcement) of store policy, and inability to even reach the store by phone made the situation worse. I hope this is addressed so future customers are treated with more respect and clarity.
