My daughter had the exact experience as the review from Taylor. She was told she was a danger to the class and was dismissed from the childcare facility if you can even call it that. They singled her out and tried to tell me she dI'd not have ADHD because "she (audrey) has kids with adhd and they don't act like this". She was diagnosed with this by a psychiatrist. I asked on many occasions for the staff and director/ owner Audrey to meet with riverbend to make a plan on how to move forward with my daughter's behavior. Audrey would switch the conversation and state "she didn't want to stress me out". They left my daughter with her husband at the front entrance on her last day which made me incridably uncomfortable. Audrey also told me just as Taylor was told that "no other children behave like mine does." Weird Audrey, since another child was told the exact same thing. They told me that she could no longer go to the childcare center through a mere text. Her other daycare which we returned to despite the distance from my new job is helping return my bubbly 4 year to who she was prior to going here. My daughter never acted this way prior to going here. I worry about what happened her there since she is too young to be able to tell me. Most of her behavior is typical for a 4 year old. Even riverbend community mental health confirmed this for me. They hire young kids who do nothing but sit on their phones all day. I walked in on staff doing their makeup despite children being in the building already. I witnessed children in the halls unattended. When my daughter returned to her old daycare the staff and children cheered to see her again. When she left they sent her a box stuffed with gifts as a goodbye gift. her therpist tells me she's a "treasure of a young girl". They tack on an extra charge for those on state assistance which our current/old daycare never did. I asked Audrey many times what the cost of care would be and she told me the same as the other childcare since i had assistance. this was not true. And I didn't find out until afterwards despite basically begging for transparency as a single mom of two. read more

This school is absolutely terrible for childhood growth and development, especially for those little ones who may have a disability. They've done nothing but single out my child, and called me on multiple occasions "Your child is a DANGER, I cannot keep anyone safe!" Meanwhile, he's four with Asperger's syndrome. They kicked out my son with a mere text message, without any kind of professional setting. When I went to go pick up my child's belonging all his art was completely soaked because they haphazardly placed an OPEN water bottle that was full. This seemed to have gotten worse when my husband and I immediately noticed an illegal transaction that was manually processed, for 430 dollars. We addressed this issue with them and it took a MONTH of blatant lack of accountability for their actions, to get any sort of refund. Since that, it seemed like they targeted my child. Jay/James/Jim Moran, the several different aliases that he's presented has a hefty criminal background (theft), knowing this doesn't surprise me now that I've done some research, that that money was illegally taken from our account. Audrey the owner also told my husband that my son "No one acts like your child in all of NH!" If this is how hostile this woman is towards mere 4-year-old shows how's the lack of integrity, and human decency, that she displays as an example to not only the children but the staff. I'm happy to bring this closing with positivity, my son is now being enrolled with an accredited school that specializes in childhood development, and one that has a disability. This day care is horrible to deal with! Do not waste your time or money! multiple occasions we have been told they couldn't take the kids on scheduled days and was turned away for being 7 minutes "late" for having car trouble. cut off is 9:30 A.m? is that a state law or just another one of their poor policies! Have misplaced the children's shoes and Jackets multiple times. Asked for us to supply diapers but our child has come home with different diapers on and still had diapers in his back pack. Also diaper had clearly not been changed for awhile. They don't appear to work with the children in potty trainer either. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

I had a child enrolled in the preschool program at Inspiring Minds and I truly had nothing but great things to say about the preschool program that my daughter was attending. As a parent of a very socially awkward three year old it was nice to show up at school and see her engaged with her peers, smiling, and playing nicely with others. This was something my husband and I were not used to seeing with all the change we've been through in the previous year with daycares. My daughter's teacher Mr. Bradley was the perfect teacher for my kid and someone we not only trusted but also respected in so many ways. He helped us develop a meaningful connection with our child and helped up find the areas which our child needed the most help and everything he advised helped create meaningful change. In the previous month Mr. Brad suddenly departed inspiring minds unannounced and this event not only shattered our heart but also the heart of many of the preschooler who loved him and respected him. With this leave in mind we knew the level of care would never be the same! Now that Mr. Brad is gone I no longer get care reports, my child had an inconsistent teacher, and now has a permanent teacher who's never even taught in a classroom and holds a degree in a completely unrelated field which has no specialization relating to anything remotely close to child development, social work, human services, or child psychology. When Mr. Bradley was there we always were notified with pictures of activities, food eaten, rest times, and important daily notes to keep us in the loop. This is no longer the case with Phyllis and Eileen or whoever is the teacher of the classroom at this point. The lesson to be learned here is what quality looks like. Mr. Brad always delivered on his promises, worked beyond 100%, and ensured that we were given more than our money was worth, and best of all he brought out the best version of every child. This daycare only had one truly great program and my child has been to 3 daycares in the past couple of years and Mr. Brad really set the bar and helped us learn what to look for in a quality program by just being himself and letting his work become a teachable moment for parents without being boastful. Do yourself a favor and turn away from this daycare. They lie and treat staff horribly. They don't invest in staff or their classrooms. The money we pay is just a foot note for Audrey and Jay to spend on personal luxuries like an RV. Program seemed great at first. Lost transparency and integrity of program. Became about greed and making money. Ratio concerns on consistent basis. Teachers seen out of room only to return when staff see parent arrive and call for them. Observed many times when amount of kids far surpass amount of teachers/aids. Inconsistent staff and appears mostly by their choice to leave based on concerns they observed first hand. amount of days off compared to other programs is extremely high and doesn't count snow days. Short notice on information, closings, events. Most persons are not certified teachers and limited experience. Numerous complaints for lack of integrity, lying to state and trying to cover things up. Co-owner has a criminal record and has been observed by multiple persons purchasing alcohol mid day at corner store and then arriving to work (not known If drinking on site though). Swindler and business practices are starting to show here Staff aren't wearing mask for protection of kids. Hard times for all and while other programs fought/gave back to families because they qualified for aid, this program continued to charge families not in attendance and then took walk ins to increase revenue. Many unhappy families simply waiting for openings at other programs. Facility doesn't realize parents talk while waiting. Many positive reviews are requested by owner and completed by family or friends, not families in attendance. Do your investigation first! Program is questionable if they should even be in business. Poor practices and communicators. Limited action when presented with issues or concern. Reports are very concerning about how kids are treated, lying about injuries and issues with the families and state. Haven't been in business long see for self at state site of licensing. I have read the other reviews and can honestly say this was not my experience. My daughter was there from August 2022 to June 2023 and for her year, she came home every day excited and loving her teachers. Ms. Mckayla (Sp.) and Ms. Mel (Sp.) were so positive and upbeat. They challenged my daughter and she now recognizes all of her letters, several sight words and all numbers between 0 - 100. She has done so many arts and crafts, I cant even begin to describe. The playground is well maintained and my daughter loved that as well. Every day I picked up my daughter and the kids were all excited, happy and very friendly. I have never seen a room with too many kids or too few staff. My daughter has made some excellent friends and is sad that she will no longer be going as she is moving on to kindergarten. To be fare of previous reviews, we were never employees, never experienced COVID and only met Jay on a couple occasions (he was polite and respectful both times). On several occasions, I had questions for Audrey or teachers and answers were almost immediate and always supportive and kind. My daughter had several accidents over the year and staff handled it without concern or complaint and were vey supportive to my child. There were times when some clothes went missing or we received someone else clothes, but that has been true in every daycare I have ever been at with my children. Mistakes happen and were always rectified. On our last day, they had a wonderful graduation celebration and the children were all beaming and excited to sing their songs and gave staff hugs goodbye. The loss of Ms. Mckayla a couple months back was huge as she was soooo beloved, but Ms. Mel stepped in and my daughter quickly said she loved her as well. No situation is perfect and I was always worried about my daughter while she was away from us, but the staff did a great job of caring for her and supporting her growth.
