I used to come here all the time and loved coming here. I was always patient with them when they were busy, never asked for anything crazy, and tipped well every time. Last two times I called for a appointment they told me yes ok come in and then it was "oh for nails sorry we don't have anything" so rude and unprofessional. after years of going here and being disappointed pretty much everytime i got my nails done i got double charged to get my acrylic set off. went back to voice my concern and request a refund since i couldn't do it through the bank and the owner gave me a hard time, tried telling me there was nothing he could do and that i must have gotten 2 services and that's why i was charged twice. there was no reason that i couldn't get my money back so eventually after 10 minutes of standing up for myself he offered a giftcard and i said can i have cash back i don't really want to spend more money here after this he was hesitant but gave me cash. long story short i will not being going back. the owner is rude and doesnt care about anything but money. they overbook themselves and then rush to get the job done. read more

When I first came here when it opened I liked it probably because it was new. But now it's nothing special, came for a pedicure and I know I didn't pay for the spa pedicure but it was really just a basic relative quick scrub and touch up on my toes. The lady that did my manicure was so rude and didn't listen to how I liked my nails done. She was impatient, bad at doing nails, and poor at customer service. All of my nails chipped within a day and looked better prior to getting them done. In addition, they charged 21 dollars for a basic manicure and gel removal. This nail salon is wonderful. One of the main reasons my mom and I decided to come here is because of the set up of the salon. Everything is close and accessible. The interior is clean and inviting. Parking is directly in front of the door- super convenient. Although we based our decision on the salon's easy and accessibility, it is the quality of the work that I really want to rave about. Both my mom and I had Tee do our nails and she is great. She does such a great job and really makes sure she does quality work. We both cannot wait to come back for our next appointments (fill, gel manicure, and pedicures). I would recommend this nail salon. read more

I had a pedicure here today, for the first time. Pros: Kim did a great job with my nails and foot massage. The chairs are very nice and the salon is very clean and new. It was super easy for them to fit me in for an appointment, even when I called to make one the same day. Biggest pro of all is that they are open on Sundays! Cons: There was a little bit (~15 min) wait when I got there (however, they were very apologetic about this). They had a tv playing (it's my preference to have no tv/tv on mute with some nice music playing instead -- more relaxing). It was a quite warm in the salon (most likely due to the very large, sunny windows which were nice, besides the heat). Overall, would definitely revisit! read more

I like to use yelp to highlight small businesses that I find and want to support and have never written a bad review before because everything is relative and I wouldn't want to jeapordize someone getting business because of my opinion, but if I can spare someone feeling the way I did after getting my nails done here then this is worth it. I made a 6:30 appointment to get a gel manicure here last Friday and wasn't seen until after 7 (they close at 7:30) so after sitting for 30 minutes waiting for someone my manicure was rushed and done very poorly. The man doing my nails spent the entire time making inappropriate comments about how he assumed I would be in bed and how he liked girls like me. I tried to change the subject/ignore him but he didn't stop. Sitting through almost 30 minutes of low key sexual harassment was extremely uncomfortable. While that alone was enough to ruin my experience the fact that the actual service was shotty and my nails already need to be redone makes me wish I had just thrown the money straight into the garbage instead of enduring the hour that I spent here. It hasn't even been a week and my nails are already peeling off. The tips are jagged from not being filed properly and the gel around the cuticle is clumped and falling off. I would highly recommend not going there. As a side note I was told that if anything happened to my nails he would happily fix them free of charge but going back isn't something I would ever intentionally do. I hate to put anyone on blast but I think it's fair to expect professionalism and peace when paying for any kind of service. Being friendly and flirtatious is one thing, but creeping someone out is another. I get that some people appreciate being flirted with (who doesn't like compliments?), but there is a line, and he definitely crossed it. read more

How horrible of an establishment. They turned me away because I didn't have an appointment. I have never in my life been turned away from a nail salon (I've been getting my nails done for 20 Years). They had 2 people waiting and told me to come back at 6 which was 4 hours after I was there. I went to 2 other Salons on this day as I go to a specific one for waxing. I went here with my bridal party on Thursday evening so we could all get our nails done together. I booked a few weeks in advance and then checked in the week before and they said everything was set. When we walked in they had snacks and drinks waiting for us! (and we brought a lot of our own). They were SO nice and fun! I recently went to Insta nail spa from out of town while visiting family. I used Yelp to connect with Tony, the owner, and was able to come in right away. The salon is extremely clean, and they had the perfect amount of staff available for the Wednesday before thanksgiving. Tony helped me choose a gel color that would match the regular polish I selected for my toes. He gave a wonderful leg massage and was not too chatty so I could sit back, relax and enjoy the massage chair. Tony was quick and efficient for both my gel manicure and pedicure, and the total was $45 which was a STEAL for the quality of work I received. This was my first time going to a nail salon since I was a kid getting a basic polish, and I chose here because of the good reviews. I was greeted immediately and everyone was very friendly. I had gone for acrylic which costs $25 but I accidently chose a gel polish when picking out a color so the entire set was $35 (but it came out beautiful and it was completely my fault. Really really a disappointing downfall. The service completely crumbled after their new male owner took over. Tony was the best and truthfully, without their regular girls- the ones there for the time Tony was the owner the salon is horrid. Kim was amazing and her no longer being there is tragic for the salon. The kind women that were always there to greet are no longer there and now you do not even get a welcome. The new male owner is THE WORST. He is nasty and rude. The first time I went there after he took over, he did my nails and they broke within the next two days after I got them. I refused to go to him after that, then he demanded he take me right before my birthday (the last time I went there ever again,) I was almost in tears because of how bad he made my nails the time he had me within his first few weeks there. They looked bad, were rushed and made me feel so unwelcome. I professed how I did not like how he does my nails and would rather have one of the girls I usually go to do my nails, (being the other girls were not doing anything since he felt the need to take all the service away from them and make them sit there folding towels.) He refused to let them do it- I'm the customer, if I DO NOT want you to do my nails/feet, then don't. You shouldn't be doing manicures and pedicures being you aren't good at it, so if you want to be the owner of the salon, maybe you should just work the front desk and cashier or something since you aren't talented at nails whatsoever. He is a nasty man all around so he probably shouldn't be in customer service at all. Unfortunately, I do not go here anymore and now go to K&J in Brick because ever since he took over, your appointment is worthless since he won't have people for you when you get there for your appointment time- you'll have to wait 15+ minutes. You won't be able to find many colors since ever since Tony left this guy hasn't gotten any new colors. NO HATE to the girls who are there from when Tony was the owner, but to the new owner, you really ruined this company that was once amazing- I traveled there from Brick, in the midst of the summertime, when traffic was horrendous I would do the travel for this salon. Have been going to insta nails for some time now and am sorry to say after today's pedicure I will never go back again. Apparently, there is a new male owner and I was unlucky enough to get him. I sat down at 11:38 and was done by 11:56 and probably 8 minutes was spent with him stopping to answer phone or jam in walk-ins into schedule with salon full already. He cut nails then ran file across each toe once. Buffed the tips of nails wo even looking, so if u like the top of ur toe buffed, then he's the one to see. Absolutely forget about having the cuticles done, extremely minimal. He added thinner to polish and polish went on clumpy and few nails(3) not even covered in its entirety. Also,he needs to learn to polish within the lines.
