Future customer services, went to this bank to solve finances for my uncle, while speaking with…read moreassociate personal banker Nancy soifer, I happened to forget my personal prescription eye glasses, she called me after I got home to advise me that I had forgotten my eye glasses, I asked if I could pick them up since I was only two blocks away, but she said they were closed, so I said I would pick up next morning, so when I went to pick up, they said I needed a form of identification to retrieve my glasses, I was startled, but agreed to it, but then they were taking very long, and I asked what was the issue, they replied that I needed two forms of id for them to release my eye glasses that they had put in the vault, I did not bring 2 id's that morning since they knew the glasses were mine, so they said I could not retrieve my glasses due to not having two forms of id, unbelievable...... So I was out of eye glasses for the weekend due to this crazy policy to which they objected to return my glasses, there was a police officer in the building and explained the issue and he said he could not get involved, however, he was also dumbfounded about the way and about how that was issued, we just looked at each other like what@$$#??? U kidding me, but we laughed and I told him no worries I understand he could not help with the issue, so this is how this banks management handles business, your glasses are safe in the vault, from being taken from yourself !!!!! Funny thing was to watch how the manager and two tellers gathered together to fill out a form on the computer and called which seemed another bank to see how they were to give me back my glasses, but whomever was on the phone with them told them that I could not get them back with just my license, I needed maybe a credit card as a second id which does not have a picture id, what is a real id for anyway, if not able to convince them that they are my glasses that I left on Mrs soifer's desk, she knew they were mine cause she was the one to call me. These people are the epitome of the nonsense that goes on in a bank these days, how the one that called me knowing who I was but did not even backed me on getting my own property back. It felt like a punishment for leaving my belongings at their bank, almost like telling me we don't want you here ever again, which is what I will do once I conclude my business on opening day, and I was not ever rude to any of them but did voice my opinion that I will never bank there ever again once I get my glasses back...... That is if they do happen to give them back cause it seems like they just don't want to give me my glasses even if I do show any form of id....good luck to all that bank there.....

I had an issue with a check I deposited in April of 2024. The check turned out to be fake which I…read moredidn't know until they closed my account. I contacted the fraud department as was suggested and they accused me of committing fraud which was absolutely not true. I explained the situation and they saw I had no intention of committing fraud. They reopened my account and told me the issue was resolved. This morning July 30, 2025 my debit card was declined, so I looked on my app. $o in my account with a note that I needed to contact the fraud department. I called and they told me they decided to end their banking relationship with me 15 months later because of the fake check from April of 2024. They emptied my account and put me balance in a check that they mailed to my address. I should expect to receive it in 1 to 15 business days. In the mean time, my paychecks are direct deposited into my account that is now closed, so I have no way of getting my pay from my job. I can't automatically designate a new account for direct deposit, so I am not sure when or how I will get my paycheck until the new account is approved. This is completely unacceptable! I was told that nothing could be done and to enjoy the rest of my day. Wells Fargo has taken all current money and future money from me, and left me with nothing. How am I supposed to enjoy any day for the next at least week after Wells Fargo took all of my money from me. WORST BANK EVER!
