this was an utterly horrendous experience and a waste of time. there's 13 sessions of like 80+ listening recordings that spam from 2 minutes to 20 minutes. The problem is if a recording is for example 3 minutes it could still take 2 more minutes before you can continue onto the next listening because there's a timer that makes you wait. It takes up so much unnecessary time for no reason. Also, at the end theres a final test that you can't even take online you have to go to a site and take it which just wastes even more time. I would strongly not recommend this for future people read more

Althought at times he was strict, Khalid definitely aided and improved my driving. He would make sure to correct people in a cautious and considerate manner, making sure that they would tweak their behaviors.In the beginning I couldn't even turn right but he helped me learn the push and pull method and taught me a very efficient way to park. My daughter took 6 private driving lessons from Viqar and his instructions boosted her behind the wheel confidence . She passed her DMV road test and got her DL with no issues . Prior to her lessons, she had very limited behind the wheel experience . He helped her with highway driving, busy roads, passing and parking. Viqar also planned classes where he would show her different routes to her school so she can be comfortable with all routes. Pricing was extremely fair, scheduling was flexible but Viqar does plan 7-10 days in advance of your lessons. He picks up/drop off at your home, is always prompt and polite. He responds quickly to texts if there Any concerns from parents . Best of all, my daughter felt very much at ease with him as her instructor ( versus Mom ). Highly recommend Viqar and best of all, the car Í equipped safe with brakes on passenger/instructor side. read more

Before enrolling at Instructors Choice Driving School, my daughter had no driving experience. We feel so fortunate that she was paired with Khalid as her instructor. She consistently praised his calm demeanor, easy-going nature, patience, and understanding throughout her lessons. Not only did he equip her with the necessary skills, but he did an exceptional job teaching her to be a confident driver. Today, she proudly holds her driver's license, and much of that credit goes to Khalid. As a mother, I'm beyond grateful for his outstanding work and can't thank him enough. Tim is an amazing instructor who cares deeply about his students' become safe drivers, rather than just being ready to pass the road test. He focused on instilling in me safe driving habits and efficiently taught me to become aware of the rules of the road and my own tendencies. If you're comfortable with taking the test from the DMV, I recommend taking the 1:1 lessons rather than doing a adult waiver program, which also requires scheduling around another student you have to observe. read more

We were a little nervous to sign up for driving instruction during covid these times, but Khalid always wore a mask, and was very conscientious about his social distancing, which made us feel comfortable. Khalid has taught both of my 16 year old daughters how to drive. Both my girls took the instructors course on line since their high school didn't offer it and the behind the wheel part with Instructors Choice Driving. I found out about them because a friend recommended them after I was expressing my concern about the cost for drivers ed. Their course is competitively priced. Their set-up is super convenient. Khalid picks up the student from their house or school and generally they are out for 2 hrs, either observing or driving. He scores them during each session and provides feedback. He also uses multiple vehicles. My daughter had a very busy 2 weeks in school because of sports and Khalid was understanding - allowing her to change the day of her usual driving session. Not sure why anyone would use any other driving course. I highly recommend! read more

BEST DRIVING SCHOOL EVER. Driving schools in general are corrupt institutions that cater to the sleeping 15 and a half year olds who are forced to go there in order to get a license. There are tons of horrible, horrible driving schools in the area (my friends went to them). But Tim Davis, who teaches the classroom and in-car portions of this class, is outstanding, funny, and harsh. If you fail, you fail. But as someone who knows a ton of bad drivers, I think that's a good thing. Just to add to my credibility: I am 100% aware that this page won't be getting visits from most yelp users. There's no selfish motive here: I just want to reward a good teacher in a notoriously ineffective industry. But in the off chance you're looking for a driving school for yourself or your kid, I hope you find this and consider Instructor's Choice. read more

WORST DRIVING SCHOOL I was a first time driver and took lessons from this school in Jan 2010. The instructor, Tim Davis was an extremely harsh instructor. He would only tell me what I was doing wrong but NEVER told me how I could correct myself. The first few days, I had a hard time driving strictly within my lane. When I asked him how I could learn to drive withn my lane, he said that if i was not aware when i cross lanes, he could not help me. He also said that I would learn driving only when a car knocked me down/have an acccident. I don't think any instructor should say that to anyone, leave alone a first time driver. Towards the end of my 20 hrs,, i thought i could never drive. Fortunately, I moved to another state where I found a wonderful instructor. I passed my road test in the first attempt and have been a safe driver so far. read more

This school is extremely disorganized and I would not recommend it for anyone who intends to complete the course over a period of time. In other words, if you are taking the classes/doing the in-car instruction in anything other than a condensed summer course, this is not for you. We have had a difficult time finding out what our child needed to do to complete the process; i.e., which classes remained to be completed and how many hours of in-car were left to be done. The record-keeping system at this school seems to be non-existent, there is no communication between the classroom instructor and the in-car instructor, and nobody seems to have any idea whether my son completed all of the requirements. This is absolutely not tolerable for the money we spent. If you are a parent looking for a driving school for your soon-to-be-new driver, I suggest you sign them up for driver's education at school rather than deal with this company. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I know that everyone else loves it but my friends and I had very different experiences. I'm not some lazy kid who's upset that I failed. I passed and I'm a very mature college student. The in class portion was acceptable. Tim, the teacher, however is pretty unforgiving when it comes to mistakes. If you slip up and say something wrong or something comes out wrong, he will not let you or the rest of the class forget for the next two weeks. He consistently grills and makes fun of you and most of his jokes are at his students' expense. For the in car portion I had Khalid Saeed, who seemed great at first. However he spends the entire lesson on the phone, not paying attention to what you're doing. He will suddenly look up and say, "Oh, turn here!" with no warning whatsoever. On my test he dinged me for things he never taught me claiming that he did. He also took off points for not turning right on red, yelling at me and telling me that I broke the law for NOT TURNING RIGHT ON RED. I looked it up. It's not in the manual. He yelled at me and my mother and even grilled me on my test in front of other students. Overall I wish I had never gone to this school. The things I learned I learned under pressure and from mistakes and criticism not how you're supposed to. RUN AWAY. read more

While I don't have any other driving school to compare this one to, I cannot recommend this driving school to anyone. My daughter took their course and completed everything except the last class, where she would get take the test. Because of a busy schedule, it was almost two years before she earned the hours and felt she was qualified to take her final test. I expected to pay a penalty, but I was surprised when I called to schedule the test because they could not find a record of her taking the course and did not know with whom she went out driving. I paid $425 for the class and was told I'd have to pay another $250 and my daughter would have to take the whole course again because they didn't have her records. It took three weeks to get a return call to my initial call, Mr. Davis tried to make his business's poor record-keeping my fault, and then charge me for it.. Communication has been poor throughout the experience. I have a 15-year old son and we will not use this business again. read more
