The rebuild team started quickly. The Supervisor of the construction team (BJ) was the best. He kept me updated and helped with the many decisions we had to make. They went above and beyond what any contractor I have dealt with in the past has done. They were very professional, accommodating and knowledgeable. I never saw an itemized estimate until they maxed out the insurance. They charged $25k for 4 days work to empty out my contents. That was 5-6 hrs a day and on day 3 they told me there were only 2 items left upstairs but milked it for a full day the next day. Then $25k for mitigation and wanted $29k to hang new Sheetrock on the ceilings, insulate, paint, windows and carpet. A private contractor told me he could have done everything for what they charged for 1 phase.
