Courtney greeted our weary party (3 vehicles, 5 adults & 2 dogs tired from a 2-1/2 day trip) and had us checked in with keys in hand within 30 minutes. Our apartment is amazing. We wake up to the sunrise and enjoy coffee on our patio overlooking beautifully landscaped areas. It is clean, the entry ways are well lit, we don't hear our neighbors, etc. Who knew that I would Google "apartment living in Melbourne" in early February and be living here by 4/1? I felt right at home with Anthony who we flew down to meet and tour the property in late February. I've had multiple maintenance issues, one that has lasted on and off for nearly a YEAR AND ONGOING…read more Issue #1 I had a SEVERE FLEA INFESTATION on and off for over two months immediately upon moving in and it took them four separate treatments to finally figure out it was coming from a dog from my upstairs neighbor. I cried in their office out of frustration begging them to figure it out. They did not offer for me to stay at a hotel and I ended up with dozens of excruciatingly itchy and painful bites all over my body for months and ended up with PERMANENT SCARS ALL OVER MY LEGS. They gave me $500 for the this ordeal. It was extremely stressful and still bothers me til this day to see all of the scars :( Issue #2 I've also had LEAKING, MILDEW and ANT INFESTATION on and off for ALMOST A YEAR (since Dec. 2023) and currently still dealing with the issue. When I say "leaking", I mean it was a solid stream of water in my living room while we had the recent hurricane! The mildew was so bad it started growing through the ceiling. They have had to cut holes into my ceiling three different times because they did not fix the root issue, left these holes completely open for weeks at a time, over 15 maintenance visits during my work day, various workers and contractors coming into my unit, going into my carpeted bedroom with dirty shoes, staff coming into my unit without notice and LEAVING MY SPARE KEY IN THE DOOR afterwards leaving my unit completely unsecured! I've dealt with fresh paint and horrible fumes for days at a time giving me headaches. The ants that came in through the ceiling hole infested my entire pantry and I had to throw everything away. They are still trying to figure out a permanent solution and covered the hole up with cardboard & a trash bag. We deserve better than this, especially for $1800/mo. I'm willing to increase my star rating given an appropriate solution and if I feel I'm taken seriously.

We were in the room 5 minutes and saw 3 German cockroaches, bloodstains and hair on multiple layers of sheets and bedding on one bed, and some kind of yellow and black stains on the other bed's sheets. It looked like someone walked on it in shoes and then peed on it. The parking lot was crawling with legitimate crackheads. One asked me to buy him a drink if he gave me money, he looked 40 so I have no idea what that was about. Don't go here, sleep in your car if you have to, but not in that parking lot. You'll most likely die. UPDATE: the management of Aladdin Motel/OYO Rooms are fully denying me any refund of $400 because "there was absolutely nothing wrong" with the room. Which I only spent 5 minutes in and then left and never came back. So they just got a free $400 from a disabled woman and probably rented out the same room and got more money too for that absolutely unacceptable, filthy, disgusting, and the only time I've ever rejected a motel or hotel room in my life.

The garbage is overloaded, we have complained and they say its because waste management only picks on twice a week, they have one dumpster for the whole apartment complex, the garbage stinks, we have rats and rodents around it and its gross, the pool cushions are ripped up and stained, they state it is a no smoking community and no glass containers or drinking at the pool, I wouldnt want a small child at the pool, the smoke, drink, vape, and have glass every where, leave there garbage , with zero consequences, I have complained and they do nothing. Also, now people are using the parking lots to work on there cars, oil stains, gas stains, cars up on ramps, it looks awful, who wants to see that in their neighborhood. Not I. Beware when you rent here. Not all that it cracks up to be. Cant wait to move out.
