We got a cat while living there - paid a $350 pet deposit (non-refundable!) plus and extra $20 a month pet rent!!! For a Cat!! - same fee as dogs! They posted a sign on our doors stating all the dog breeds they DO NOT allow (pfffft!) in the development: pit bulls, german shepards, and other aggression-tendency breeds. We have seen well over 20 pit bulls there and several german shepards as well as pit-bull mixes. There is dog crap ALL over the place because people suck. We love dogs (we just don't have one at this time) but dog owners need to take responsibility for their pet. IF you chose to live there, pay VERY close attention to the charges they apply to your account. We kept a separate spreadsheet just to track our fees. When you pay $2000+ a month in rent, you should expect more than what The Solamere Grand is capable of providing. Rent a house!! You will thank me later -

I made management aware and instead of doing anything they told me I was over reacting and I had to live with it. Not a safe place. Also unresponsive and won't answer calls or emails and almost never in the office during office hours. Somehow laura is always dealing with a sickness or death so she can't ever be in the office. Unreliable management. The units are outdated and smoked in so everything is yellow. Beware.

And if your a woman moving in without a man he charges you more rent! DON'T RENT HERE UNLESS YOUR DESPERATE!

They will put an eviction on your record and tell you to move out, even if you have a newborn. Even after failing to help their tenants with all the things wrong with those apartments, when they request maintenance. My family had to move out before us due to how bad the black mold got for them, and every day we woke up we had billions of new bug bites.. and yes, we checked the mattress for bed bugs and uncountable amount of times. They remodeled the unit above and beside me and I had to listen to non stop hammering and banging, workers yelling and debris in front of my building for 4 weeks. The noise was so load several times that my pets that are on the lease were shaking really bad. Management does not seem to care about the above and beyond noise that happens on a daily basis. You can also hear everything from your neighbors because they put in cheap flooring.
