I have been on xanax since 2012. Three times as much as i'm taking now. My clinic used to be called Montgomery Psychiatric Associates. Ever since IBH took over, they have started drug testing in order to get the xanax prescription refilled.. I'm almost seventy years old.What are they looking for? I ask about it today and got some vague answer about some people.Don't know what all they are taking? Is that my problem? I know what I am taking, and I wrote it on the Questionnaire. No, I am not taking opioids, and no, i'm not taking illicit drugs.And i'm not going to sue you if I fall out from taking xanax. It's just an extra way for them to make extra money, and act like they are doing it for your benefit. I think it's time to find someplace new to go! Was a new patient due to mine retiring. Did not care to get records of many years with last psychiatrist.. wanted to give different meds, when I didn't want them.. Had a bad experience with new meds, and they just didn't care. I needed counseling, but didn't know the lady I was talking to is only over meds. I don't have to time nor money to make 2 separate appointments.. it's ridiculous.. only want money. They don't care about the person.. read more

They are now drug testing ALL patients no matter what your problem is, plus charging you for it as well. It's all about the money they can extract from you. Desk staff ranges from incompetent to rude. I'm always put on hold when I call and it usually takes several minutes to speak to the receptionist. I'm going to find another doctor. read more

If I could I would give this place a zero rating. They are only about the money and the front office staff is so rude. I have a $50 overpayment and was told it would take 6 MONTHS to get MY money, which they only have because the lady at the front desk overcharged my portion of the deductible. You would think that since this is a "mental health facility" they would be more sympathetic and caring, but they are not even close. read more

Employees aren't trained. Can't ever see doctors. Had to go 30 days without medication cold turkey because of an employee mistake, then they didn't believe me when I told them what I'd been told by other employees. Please, don't waste your time here. They don't care about you, and you're not going to get the medication you need. It's really worth getting an external evaluation and going to someplace like Gardenia Cove if you need ADHD medication. Please don't give this place any more business. read more

I would give a zero rating if I could. IBH bought the former practice. Since they've taken it over, I've seen a deep decline in service. I drive an hour and a half to be seen. The last time I drove up, I was told I would see my doctor via zoom. They didn't even attempt to notify me. So I drove all that way to zoom for a few minutes. I was supposed to have an appointment today. Again, I drove an hour and a half. Due to traffic and their lack of available parking, I was 12 minutes late. They told me they had a 5 minute window. I told them about the drive, but they didn't care. I find it interesting that they limit me to a five minute window, yet I've never been seen in five minutes of arrival. I doubt I've ever been seen in 15 minutes of arrival. With those two interactions, I can only assume the new practice cares very little for the individual patient. I've requested my medical records and will be going somewhere else. read more

If you have an actual mental disorder/s, please look elsewhere. I've been with this office since Jan of 2017. When the former business, MPA was bought out by these downright abusive new people of IBH, I was put with the most mentally, physically, and emotionally abusive psychiatrists I have ever had in my 33 years, and I've had a lot. I've struggled with this man, who goes by DR. JUSTIN PARROT, for two years. From day 1, I requested a new psychiatrist but Teresa, the office manager, told me that wasn't a smart idea because all of the psychiatrists go to lunch and "talk". Since when is mental health non-confidential? I have also been working towards disability for two years. In our last appointment, which was via webcam, I clearly stated after years of frustration that I wanted my life to go back to normal like before I had to see him. He quickly told me with no prior discussion, that I am an addict and I need to be rehab, that he would find me another psychiatrist and hung up in my face. After that, I no longer had a psychiatrist or therapist. Nobody cared to address the situation at IBH. Also, stay away from the therapist, Melissa. She says pretty words but cares nothing for the well being of her clients. My life feels over and I'm scared I am going to end my life after dealing with IBH. I literally have no one now. Avoid this place at all cost so it can possibly spare your life if you deal with major depression and anxiety disorders. read more

The front desk employees have left me sitting in the lobby for an hour and a half bcuz they did not look at the sign in sheet. But then want to charge $75 for a missed appointment when we were in the lobby the entire time. Then this same woman overlooked us again and we were 11 minutes late due to a wreck that had traffic backed up for 35 mins before we could get through. Then it wasn't just a $50 no show fee bcuz we actually showed up...it was then $75 and my child needed to see the doctor bcuz she needed her meds. Did they care? No! I am moving all of my families Healthcare needs elsewhere. MPA was awesome. This IBH mess is absolutely ridiculous. They want you to arrive 20 mins early...and make u sit and wait an hour before your called back. Dr. Parrot seems very nice and competent. But the front desk staff must not have finished highschool. And I will miss Hunter greatly! As well as the therapist that we're here when it was MPA. Not a competent front desk staff at all!! read more

I HATE THIS PLACE. Once IGH took over it has been down hill every since. Both of my doctors left and I was never informed. I really needed to get in and see them but was told they had left and that they are working on getting doctors in to replace them, that took months until I finally had to see whoever they had available. I spoke with Dr. Shameka who is horrible. No comparison or empathy. She is most definitely in the wrong field. The front desk help is horrible. They must forget that they work at a Mental Health facility. I HATE THAT PLACE. When IGH took over they started charging any where from $150-$250 just to fill out paperwork for Short Term Disability. Do I look like I have that kind of money. I finally filled out a medical records release form to get all of my records from that horrible place and is in the process of finding another facility. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, stress, depression, panic attacks, mental breakdowns and walking in that place is just asking for flare up. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND DO NOT NEED TO BE ASSISTING PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS. Now I'm out here looking for another facility because they failed me and dropped the ball on so many levels. Being a patient of theirs for almost 5yrs.Today was the last straw. They dont answer the phone.. If you miss an appointment they will charge you $100.. There were 3 times I've had to drive there to reschedule an appointment. Under IBH I had to go in as a new patient, take a day off work to see a provider I was already seeing. Then on 2 occasions had to wait over an hour to be seen. Today the long white brown haired girl with brown eyes was conversing with the other person in the office as I waited to sign in. I looked at my phone to see the time. It was 3:25 and I wrote it down. Then I was called by the same girl. She said if you are more than 5 minutes late you can't be seen and you have a fee. I told her my appt. was at 3:30, and I signed in at 3:25. She said it was at 3:20 I told her I had the message for 3:30 but she said rudely no it was at 3:20 and you will have to reschedule and Mrs. Padgett's last day is Tuesday so you will have to see a new provider. and owe a fee. I said even if it was 3:20 I signed In at 3:25 she rudely said no I entered it at 3:28. Her talking to a coworker before and after me checking in caused a 3 min. delay resulting in me losing my appointment and being charged for no show. In addition to all of that, I if I would stay the new provider would be the sixth person they would've shuffled me around too. That would be the 6th person I'd have to start over with in less than 5 years. read more

I haven't even seen a counselor here so I can't speak to the services they provide. But the staff that I have dealt with from here is a complete joke and every one of them needs retraining. I received recommendations from several coworkers who saw a particular counselor here, so I made an appointment. Last week, one coworker told me this particular counselor is leaving, and she had gotten a phone call from IBH to cancel/reschedule appointment. This was Friday afternoon, when they close at 12, and my appointment was scheduled for Monday morning. I called first thing Monday to see why they didn't contact me. They told me yes, this counselor is leaving, and if I cancel I will be charged $50. I asked them if I was expected to do onboarding and an initial appointment with a counselor who is leaving, and then what? Do it all over again with a different counselor? This is supposed to be a clinic that serves for improving mental health, and I felt that going through all of my background with 2 different people was too much for me. I was denied a courtesy call to inform me that my selected counselor was leaving, and then threatened with being charged for the office's error. No wonder they can't keep the good employees, I can't even imagine what's going on behind closed doors here. read more
