I'm wish I could give 0 stars. I went to them 2 months after giving birth. I was misdiagnosed with…read morebipolar depression, and trialed multiple psych meds that did not treat what I actually had, so I appeared even crazier. Come to find out, I was suffering from PPD. Why didn't any of them think about the fact that I had a literal newborn at home? I was abandoned by my husband because this clinic failed to diagnose and treat me appropriately. I will not ever recommend. As far as office experience, I don't remember much after the first visit, because they had me doped up on Latuda, multiple different doses throughout the experience.

This workplace is a perfect example of how one supervisor can destroy an entire office…read more The front office staff (answering phones, checking in patients, basic admin work) are treated like children instead of professionals. The supervisor enforces rules she does not follow herself: staff are not allowed to eat, talk, or even stand up from their chairs, yet she openly eats, takes constant smoke breaks, and polices everyone else like it's a sweatshop. Talking is discouraged to the point where she has literally told employees that "the whispering has to stop." Her mindset is that if you have time to speak at all, you aren't working hard enough. Morale is nonexistent. There are blatant double standards. Employees are threatened with write-ups for unpaid time off exceeding 40 hours, even for real emergencies involving children, while the supervisor herself was frequently out for months for personal reasons with no accountability. Write-ups are handed out inconsistently and selectively for things others are never disciplined for. Payroll issues were handled unprofessionally and unfairly. When an employee was accidentally overpaid (through no fault of her own), she was told to immediately repay the money or have her future checks withheld for months -- despite the amounts not even equaling what was overpaid. Temporary "help" offered during this situation was then demanded back with no regard for basic living expenses like daycare or bills. To make matters worse, this supervisor is responsible for holding multiple locations accountable but consistently fails to do so, instead shifting blame onto one office and taking her frustrations out on the staff there. This could be a decent workplace with competent leadership, but as it stands, the environment is toxic, controlling, and demoralizing. If you value being treated like an adult, having basic respect, or working under fair leadership, proceed with extreme caution.

The doctors and staff are all always friendly to both myself and my minor child who is the patient…read more The doctors don't feel like they push you into anything or like they are telling you that you must accept the care they suggest, but they ask for your input in your care. I'd give the office 5 stars BUT: I do have one big issue with the office. They are absolutely TERRIBLE about time management. It's incredibly frustrating. We currently see Dr. Green virtually due to COVID, which I don't mind at all, however, you log in for your appointment and will wait a minimum of 30 minutes to be greeted and checked in. That's a minimum (I think only 1 time has it been that short), typically you're looking at about 50+ minutes... just waiting to be checked in! Once you're checked in you're probably going to wait another 15 minutes until the doctor joins. I had family visiting and we planned to go to the Battleship N.C. in Wilmington. I had my mom drive because I needed to log in on my phone for an appointment (typically we are home on a computer). We drove all the way from Jacksonville to the parking lot of the battleship before we were greeted to check in... an hour and 14 minutes! Just to be checked in. My family boarded the ship and it took me another 25 minutes before I could join them and only about 4 of that was spent speaking with the doctor and about 2 minutes to schedule the next appoint. Yesterday, I needed to pick up a form to give to my child's school. You must call from the parking lot once you arrive, (I had called ahead to verify the form was ready to be picked up). I get to the parking lot and call. It put me directly in the hold cue and after 10 minutes I hung up and called right back. Another 9 minutes and 33 seconds in the hold cue and I'm about ready to go knock on the front door when an employee comes out to give something to another car that had been waiting since before I arrived. After finishing with that car, the employ asked if anyone had helped us yet and I politely said no and let them know what we were there for. She said she would go grab the form and return with the release that I needed to sign.... that took 15 minutes. She didn't wait for me to complete the release form, she said she'd be back for it.... that took another 10 minutes. So just to grab a form (also you have to pay a "forms fee" which wasn't required last year) it took 45minutes! It's insanely frustrating and inconsiderate. I understand that staffing at many locations has changed due to COVID and I'm a very patient person, but this is ridiculous. We've been seen at this office for maybe about 6-7 months and it has been like this EVERY time except once! So, while I love the doctors (we've seen both Dr. Greene and Ahlberg) and I think the staff is all friendly, I'm really fed up with the office being no where near punctual. I fully understand that some appointments may run unexpectedly over the allotted time, that things happen but this is a regular occurrence. (I'd give them more stars if this was just an occasional thing but it's every dang time.) It would be greatly appreciated if they found a way to fix this, whether it's staffing or scheduling changes, I don't know, but it's really inconsiderate. I respect your time, I expect the same. I've also gone to pick up a prescription only to find out their office never sent it to the pharmacy (thankfully that has only happened once).
