The people who have listened to my never ending tales of fear, shame, and confusion; still managed to do so with patience and empathy. I am "one of those" bipolar types; prone to devastation and depression; ADHD, OCD, and B.S. I didn't always agree with the medications or the advice I was given, However I did what they suggested and found that they were helping me. I wanted to get better. I'm sure that I'm not explaining this well, but these people saved my life. I have recommend them to many friends and relatives to sort out difficult issues. When you hear there are people out there that can help you; these people are them! DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP! Or have a friend call! Just do it!

Next time I saw him I told him I had every symptom of ptsd and I couldn't function as an Able bodied person and I had lost everything in my life I need to apply for disablity benefits he told me that he would have to witness my symptoms and as far as I was concerned he had he said it would be years before i could do that and that I didn't want to go around telling anybody that I had ptsd especially the government because the last thing I want to do is let the government know I had ptsd you never know what they were going to do with that info about me.!!!! Wow!!! That's Strange statement to tell someone whose broken! Well I found another doctor in fact I saw two and they both diagnosed me with several things but the main diagnosis was ptsd. With them I applied and was awarded social security benefits and I am on my way to getting a life again with no thanks to this place. I ran out of gas on my to my appointment two minutes from their office and I was losing it due to extreme fear from ptsd and he said I could no longer go there and sent me a letter certified saying I was no longer welcome to go there. Wow! I warn anyone to not go there. They don't want to help anyone get well or recover just give the wrong inappropriate medications and keep you disabled from functioning in society. Stay away from there if you want to get well!

Dr. Zagar figured me out in a single visit. I followed up on his idea with my team of physicians and I was diagnosed with a rare syndrome, the treatment for which has me experiencing less daily pain than I have in 15 years. I had seen other neurologists before and no one had a clue. I have to say that I think Dr. Zagar is some kind of diagnostic wizard. I don't know what anyone else's experience may be, but the stories I've told here are real. This clinic has been life changing for me.

Dr. Zadar did not care at all about the neurological damage notified by their RN as a result of their lack of training. He also did not care about me as a patient and my health. Others caused damage in my arms and hands blowing out veins, fishing around inside for a vein, and causing horrible bruises. There is never an issue when I donate blood regularly and always an issue when visiting here.

The folks were well intentioned and caring but not very detailed oriented. Communication always seemed to be an issue, and my medications were never quite right. The individual therapy was fine, and the groups were hit or miss, depending on who facilitated. The life coaches were just unreliable but nice and well intentioned. My biggest reservation involved our dependence on rides to the store, appointments or to the clinic. Being on time always seemed to be an issue, and schedules would change at the last minute with no communication. I intended my stay to be a six month treatment experience but only completed one month. That's all I could take. I was discharged and transferred to a sober living facility but foolishly decided to continue with Blue Sky IOP for "treatment continuity". I lasted 3 more weeks before reaching the end of my rope. Overall, Blue Sky was a learning experience and like most such services, it's exactly what you make of it. I sought to make the best of my time there but was very glad to leave and finally cut ties completely. UPDATE: Today, I am working on 3 years sobriety and remain hopeful about long term recovery. Now that some time has past, I definitely see how Blue Sky was a major challenge in my post treatment recovery, but I plugged into another program and learned from that whole ordeal. Others have been helped, so like that unwritten Taylor Swift song we'll never hear, "Maybe It's Me". Best wishes to all seeking a sober life!
