Issues: 1) I dropped off my 2014 tax paperwork mid-March 2015 as they requested. I didn't hear anything from them before the April 15 deadline, so finally called their office in May to follow up on whether the 2014 taxes were completed, I was told that an extension was filed on my behalf with the NC DOR - it never happened and I was hounded by the DOR for months. 2) In December 2015 I received a past due invoice in the mail for preparation fees for the 2014 taxes - which I had paid the previous June when I finally picked up my completed tax paperwork. These baffling things just should not happen when dealing with competent CPAs, I've certainly never experienced any issues with a CPA before. Of course now I worry whether my 2014 returns were prepared correctly, so will likely end up paying another firm to audit my return. Although Mr. Roddy is an extremely nice gentleman, it appears his staff is incompetent. For that reason I would unfortunately have to advise to use another firm.
