Hambleton Handyman was a big help to me and did a great job on my recent home project…read more I recently deleted some basement windows that no longer functioned and leaked along with a few in the garage. I replaced them all with glass blocks to allow more light in and better seal off any future drainage issues. Michael Sikes from Hambleton came by to take measurements of all the windows; found the supplies that I needed for me on Home Depot site so that I could order the parts to do the work. Come time for work, Michael did a great job and was meticulous with getting everything installed. It was a more detailed job than initially thought. The final work looks great and I just finished painting the outside window trim he did. I will say that they are a bit on the pricey side, so be sure you understand the scope of work involved and estimate. However, this was something that could only be done once and needed to be done correctly. I appreciate Michael and Hambleton Handyman!

I waited several weeks for them to start my project, only to have it repeatedly pushed back. Their policy of allowing current customers to add on to existing projects means new customers get bumped -- and in my opinion, that is simply not a professional way to run a business. After being delayed twice with no clear end in sight, I decided to cancel altogether. I'd caution anyone in the Charlotte area to ask upfront about their scheduling policy before committing.
