I had already made arrangements for contractors to do work on the apartment, and ended up hiring someone else to clean per the former tenant's instructions. At nearly 1 pm, the owner texted to say they would be at the apartment the next day. I told her I had contractors scheduled which she responded per text, "Contractors will not be permitted to be on site while my staff is present." I told her that would not work for me because I had a short time frame to get the apartment ready to lease to the next tenant. To make this shorter than a novel, we argued back and forth until 7:58 PM. I told her numerous times she missed her appointment, the former tenant authorized me to hire someone else and that she had no contact with me. She threatened a lawsuit if I refused her access. Needless to say, I would NEVER get involved with Merry Maids of Wichita Falls, Texas. I have attempted to contact someone at the corporate office, but whenever I call, their phone system is down. I tried emails that were not answered. I have no idea how Brittany Grant stays in business! She made 2 or 3 appointments to meet my tenant, and never showed up.
