I am really disappointed in this company. I used them for a move from San Diego to Chicago. We used…read morethe ABF trailer option. We paid for the option where we pack, they move, and they unpack. First, the trailer is HUGE. Our apartment complex almost didn't let them leave it on the grounds because it is so big. That's not that big of a deal though. What really upset me is that when our things were delivered, they were badly damaged and many items ruined. Our coffee table was destroyed. 2 prints were destroyed. A lamp was destroyed. Many of our bookcases, headboards, etc had many damaged spots in the wood. Our policy did not provide full coverage, but it did provide for partial coverage. However, when I submitted my claim they refused to acknowledge it. They denied me twice before I filed a claim with the BBB. They have continued to refuse to compensate me anything for my losses. They said that they didn't pack it and can't verify the integrity of the packing. We used blankets and packing material. Because they won't acknowledge any fault, the only option the BBB has is to conduct mediation but at a cost to me. I'm not going to go to mediation and waste any more time or money on this company, but I am really dissatisfied.

These guys are crap! Do not use them!…read more The first day was good 3 people showed up to pack my stuff into boxes. The packers were very nice and they all spoke english. The second day was a different story! Only two people showed up to load 8,500 lbs of stuff. So one guy was the driver/loader and the other was cataloging everything. The driver barely spoke english. I called the company to complain about this, they talk a good game on the phone so don't let them fool you. Actions speak louder than words! "Yes sir this is definitely a problem, we will fix this issue right away! You should not have only two people packing and loading 8,500 lbs of house hold goods." Yeah the movers started at 9am and did not finish until after 8pm. Now onto the delivery day. Out of 5 guys only one guy spoke English. We gave them water and some McDonalds burgers hoping to get some good treatment! Hell no! These guys were horrible! As they were unpacking and removing boxes they stole several items! One of which was my son's XBOX 360! I filed a claim and called them to tell them about it. I was told, "We take stealing very seriously, do you have proof?" No I don't have proof? I didn't know the stuff was missing until I put my house together! I know my son's XBOX was there when the boxes were packed! Avoid these guys at all cost!

I would strongly advise to not go with this company. For one, they do not have an office- they…read moreoperate through the employees at Popular Flooring. I never see the landlord or talk to him ever as everything we do has to go through the employees at Popular Flooring. He does not use an official Texas lease when having tenants sign leases, which means there is no guarantee that his properties have been inspected or that they are up to code by Texas law for rental properties. My boyfriend and I moved into our house February of 2019, two months before I had a baby boy. The hardwood floors had been done poorly- the sealant wasn't spread evenly and they didn't even reach the walls. Just globs of shine all over the place. None of the windows open, which unfortunately is not a requirement for rental properties in Texas, but because of that, they didn't air out the fumes from "doing" the floor. They had put new cabinets in the kitchen, and didn't clean it- there was dust all over the doors, the shelves, the counters, and the kitchen floor. We had moved in with one of the bathroom windows being broken, and the plumbing in the shower not working. Before we decided to rent the place, during our viewing, there was poop and cigarette butts in the toilets, which means they were smoking in the house while they were working on it. We've had the plumbing be repaired twice now, and both times they hired a crappy company who did a poor job. The first guy they sent out put wood down my sink disposal, which ended up breaking it and had to be replaced. The second guy didn't nail the entrance to under the house down all the way, which is located in our bedroom for some reason, and I almost stepped on a nail while 8 months pregnant due to his negligence. They painted over all the windows, which is why they don't open. I didn't think to check while we were viewing the property because I had never lived in a house where the windows couldn't open before. Our landlord, Mike, also head of the company, also hired an AC repairman to come out and fix our AC when it was leaking. We requested a call before he came so we could put our dogs outside. They aren't aggressive but get very excited and want to jump and have attention, so to keep them calm, we put them outside when we have company. My very friendly boxer broke one of our windows because the AC man provoked him into attacking. I found it ironic that the mechanic struggled to replace the window because the windows don't open. Despite seeing the AC man provoking my dog, my landlord gave an attitude about my "aggressive breed" dog, stating that boxers are considered aggressive because they look like pit bulls. Referring back to my comment about the houses potentially being in violation of Texas code for rental properties, my boyfriend and I have discovered three violations so far in our current home, two. We're inquiring about contacting an attorney to see if we can request a city inspector to check the rest of the house. Unfortunately, I can't break my lease early as we don't have the funds with having a newborn, but I'd at least like to live in a nice home so I figure if I can get the house taken care of, that would be better than nothing. Now we're having bug problems, I'm pretty sure ants are infested in the walls and bugs are breeding under the house; and our front door won't close because they didn't line the latch with the hole up right when they installed the door prior to us moving in. I greatly regret moving into this house, but even if I had done some research before moving in, I wouldn't have found anything about this company. I don't want someone else to make our mistake. Mike seems very cheap, and even one of the companies he hired had told us that, and he seems generally uncaring of his tenants. After the issue with the broken window with the dog, the handyman came out to fix it and then reported us to the landlord because we hadn't mowed in nearly a week, and we got in trouble with threats that he would report us to the city, despite the fact that that week had a lot of tornado warnings and watches and a lot of thunderstorms. So the way I see it, our landlord expects us to put ourselves in danger to ensure the lawn is taken cared of, because the grass is more important than our safety. Anyway, just lots of issues with this house, both old and new, that show this camping is negligent in putting the proper care into their properties. Will not be renewing my lease with this company.
