They have everything, from sporty little rolling walkers (with a seat and a some "luggage" space to stash your stuff), to elevated toilet seats to recliners with seats that raise, to help you get up. When we thought Mom was going to need back surgery, we came here with questions and the staff was so helpful. When she (thankfully) didn't need the operation after all, they were so kind in processing our return. What a painless experience during a stressful time. It is an initial review in the sense that I was fitted for new orthotic shoes and inserts, and it will be a few weeks before they actually show up, as the inserts are custom made and the shoes have to be ordered from the manufacturer. The facility was very clean and efficient. The employees seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. When the shoes and inserts arrive I will update the review with more information, but I was very satisfied with how things went so far.

Robinson Family Clinic has been an answer to my prayers. They are a medical facility but they take a much more holistic approach to care, which is what I'd been praying for. My father and I first saw Dr. Jeffrey Friedman in Lakeland, Florida, and our initial visit was…read morepleasant. He was scheduled to return on July 6 for a complete bilateral duplex ultrasound at 1:45 p.m. Unfortunately, there was heavy traffic on US-98 South, and it was raining. As soon as I realized we were running a few minutes behind, I called the office. The receptionist told me there was a 15-minute grace period and that we needed to arrive by 2:00 p.m. We pulled into the parking lot at approximately 1:49 p.m. My father is 85 years old, uses a walker, and cannot move quickly. While he was carefully getting out of the car, I went inside to let the staff know he had arrived and was making his way in. A couple of minutes after 2:00 p.m., the receptionist told me they would not see him. I explained that he was literally outside coming in as fast as he physically could. My father also suffers from prostate issues and has to urinate frequently. He urgently needed to use the restroom, but because he couldn't make it inside in time, he had to discreetly relieve himself outside using the small bottle he carries for situations like this. It was heartbreaking and humiliating to watch. Once he finally made it into the office, they still refused to perform the ultrasound. I asked to speak with the doctor. Dr. Friedman came out, but he also declined to see my father. I was devastated and extremely angry. After driving approximately 45 miles in the rain to get my elderly father to his appointment, he was turned away because he arrived just a couple of minutes after 2:00 p.m.--even though the delay was due to helping an elderly man with significant mobility issues safely out of the car. What upset me even more was when a staff member told me that if I didn't leave, they would call the police. At that point, my emotions got the better of me, and I responded with profanity because I felt my father was being treated without compassion or understanding. This was my personal experience. If you're considering this office, I encourage you to ask about their late-arrival policy and how accommodations are handled for elderly patients or those with mobility limitations, so you know what to expect.

These guys are truly the best and so professional when it comes to physical therapy…read more I've had to come here two separate times for issues with both of my knees, and Clark has been amazing. He's so knowledgeable and attentive, and you can tell he's super passionate about what he does. The first time I came, I had been having severe pain in my knees for months and months- I got an MRI and found out I had a partial tear in my meniscus and other damaged cartilage behind my kneecap. The surgeon didn't want to touch it so I wasn't given a guidance and it just continued to get worse. When I came here, Clark finally helped me figure out that the issue wasn't even all the torn and damaged cartilage, but that my kneecap was out of place from all my years playing basketball. He helped get to the root of my issue and had my knee feeling better in a little over a month when no one else was giving me any real answers. Clark is also a former college athlete, which I am myself, and having someone who's been through similar experiences and knows how to help my injuries that have stemmed from playing sports made me even more comfortable. All of the PT's here are great- I've talked to multiple other patients and many of them have come back for different issues and gotten the help they needed. Even Alicia who works at the front is the sweetest admin and helps get all the insurance and appointments set up swiftly.
