Following the install, we used SC for yearly maintenance and that just was a continual challenge and even after direct communication on what we were looking for, SC could not deliver. Unfortunately, we had to move on to another company this year after a lack of focus, too much $, lack of follow through and lots of excuses.. we gave SC so many chances and it's unfortunate they could not deliver.. .... there are better landscape companies out there, so save yourself the headache and use them. .

Since we liked what they had done, I was prepared to just accept this. But, when the grass didn't come in as we expected this year, Tyler just refused to come back and even look at it. His comment: "I believe the reason the grass is not doing well is due to a lack of water this spring and early summer when conditions were very, very dry. I unfortunately cannot warranty perennials or grass due to lack of water or conditions out of my control." For what we spent on this project (and paid for their overruns), I would have expected some respect to follow-up on my concerns. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend Spring Creek Landscaping.

This company is a joke and it's owner, Leon Leiba, is a scumbag. He showed up on our 60-unit…read moremultifamily construction site begging for our business. We weren't ready to even discuss landscaping at the time. He insisted on submitting a bid proposal for the landscaping job. He comes back with a $220,000 bid on Xeriscape for a less than 2 acre site. Of course, we didn't agree and decided to go with another group for less than $80,000. Months later, after Leon knew we didn't choose him for the job, he sends an invoice for $3,800 for his "time" in preparing a proposal. We had no contract and no agreement to work with him. After our project is completed, he files a lien on our project. Wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. He's clearly a bottom feeder and can't be trusted. Stay away from him, even if he shows up at your job site unannounced.

He has been served with two Orders to Quit from the Colorado State Plumbing Board, but he continues to install sprinkler systems in direct violation of the Orders. Before knowing this, I hired him to install a sprinkler system for me and experienced numerous problems. I also hired them to do other landscaping work, and their work was terrible. Not only did they bill for extra hours, but the onsite supervisor also spent the majority of his time on the phone while an undocumented worker did all the work, which was of very poor quality, but he, nevertheless billed me for every minute of the supervisor's time here.

I'm a first time homeowner and don't really have a lot of knowledge regarding irrigation systems. Not to mention the previous homeowner left the system in dismay. Dennis was extremely helpful taking the time to explain every detail to me about the control box, valves, and heads, all while teaching Jake (in training) new skills. When we found out the control clock was fried, he warned me against certain brands and was kind enough to go out of his way to purchase one through a local distributor, saving me time and money, and allowing for me to get a high quality clock without having to wait for shipping or settling for lower quality. He also came back to my property a second time. After the initial troubleshooting kept him longer than expected, he had to leave, so as to not be late for his next appointments, assuring me he would come back at the end of his day. Sure enough he and Jake returned to finish the job just as promised and once the system was up an running, Dennis walked around the property checking to make sure everything was in working order, explaining things and replacing broken parts along the way. It all ended with a firm handshake and a new loyal customer! The price was very reasonable, and even less than I was quoted from some competitors. To say I'm impressed is an understatement.
