Instead today I get a letter that rent is DOUBLING because my rate is a "promotional rate". I re-read my contract and there is no mention of a promotional rate. But the letter also states this is due to "market forces". It was a promotional rate in the first paragraph but now it's market forces. So this is a bait and switch sorta business. Don't store here if you are picking it because it is cheaper than other locations, they are just trying to trick you into renting a space and then DOUBLE THE PRICE because all your stuff is inside and they figure you won't move it. Bad business practice right there.

Have received random charges to my credit card , which I have had to dispute. Older gentleman Bruce has been extraordinarily rude and tried "Shooing" me, a paying customer away when I came to their office with a complaint. When you charge a premium price, customers expect to receive a no-frills premium service. You will not get a premium service here, and you'll likely have the same subpar experience that I did.

The facility is conveniently located off Starr Road and Newark Road in Landenberg, just shy of Gap-Newport Pike (Route 41) and across the street from the New Garden Township HQ and park. My last storage unit was very dark and the lighting system was awful. At DE Storage New Garden, the hallways inside are bright and well-lit at all times. I don't have to worry about using a flashlight inside my unit to see where I am. Instead, there is general light provided by the facility that helps me be more efficient with my time while feeling super safe. Also, the management team is incredibly kind and understanding. They truly care. This is by far a FIVE STAR business in the heart of Southern Chester County. Highly recommend!
