Easy location, climate-controlled and nonclimate-controlled units. I have one climate-controlled…read moreunit located behind the office. Very clean units and hallways. Convenient hours. Unfortunately the outdoor lighting is extremely poor. Very easy to get injured trying to move items into/out of the unit after dark. Also some questionable accounting. I've only had one credit card on file in the year I've had the unit. The card number has not changed and the card has not expired. My unit has been locked out 3 times in one year as they have not been able to bill my card properly. Expiration is in 2019 yet the woman I spoke to this month adamantly tried to convince me the card had expired. Must keep my storage here due to expense/lack of available units in the area but I will never rent here again.

If you rent a unit here, I strongly recommend making sure more than one person is listed on the lease so that someone else can access the belongings if the primary renter becomes unavailable. My family had an extremely upsetting experience with this facility following the death of my brother last week. We are trying to clean out his storage unit because we simply cannot afford to pay for another month of storage on the 31st and only had help from other family members today. Instead of showing even a small amount of compassion or understanding, the woman working at the front desk was extremely rude, judgmental, and confrontational with my 28-year-old niece, who is already dealing with the loss of her father. When my niece told her that her father had just died, the response was "Good for you." I find that response absolutely appalling and completely unacceptable under any circumstances. When the owner arrived, he was thankfully much calmer and more reasonable. However, rather than showing compassion for what our family was going through, he repeatedly told us that we could simply pay for another month of storage. We eventually learned what documentation was needed for my niece to access the unit. We were told that in 25 years of running the business, the owner had never dealt with a situation like this. Unfortunately, the way our family was treated did not leave us feeling that this was a place that would be compassionate or helpful when a tenant dies or when a family is dealing with an estate. After we had left, we apparently learned that the police had been called and had attempted to contact my niece. She was unable to connect with them because she initially had her phone on Do Not Disturb--understandably, as she is still reeling from the sudden death of her father just three days ago. Losing someone is difficult enough without having to fight with a storage facility while trying to take care of their belongings. A little compassion and basic human decency would have gone a very long way. Renter beware. Know exactly who is listed on your lease and make sure someone you trust will be able to access your belongings if something happens to you.
