It was very evident that the teachers worked REALLY hard but often seemed to be mismanaged and chaotic. My mom gut told me this was not a great for baby so moved to a new center and she is now thriving, learning and so happy to be there. Sorry, but I do not recommend.

After 10 months I decided that it was not normal (my daughter cried every single morning) the kids still didn't play with her, the teachers keep telling me that all was fine and the managers not taking any action. Finally I changed daycare and after the second week my daughter was smiling, have many friends and play with them. I see that she loves her group and the teachers and also they love her. Also this daycare is less expensive! I lost my time and my daughter's time at Especially for Children. I don't recommend this daycare for new kids as it could be an awful experience.

Since the transition to The Gardner School we now know what quality care is and what was lacking previously. Our child has shown marked improvement in so many areas that we could not have asked for a better outcome. The teachers and staff at this location are wonderful and a true delight in the mornings and afternoons during drop-off and pick-up. We are always kept well informed and updated about our child throughout the day with an extremely convenient app. The teachers here are also very well educated and treat this as a career and not just a babysitting job, which is truly a comfort when you are entrusting them with the most valuable and treasured people in your lives. I was charged for 4 days the week of the 4 Of July---in which the 4th is paid by the family even though they are closed, The director tells me she thought I meant I would be bringing my daughter in Tuesday thru Thursday...wait that sounds like 3 days including the 4th which fell on a Wednesday where did you get 4?! When We in fact agreed on a 3 day flexible schedule. So I get told the payment hasn't processed go in and pay the adjusted amount(which was still too much if I'm getting a 10% corporate discount) (let's not forget they run a 25% off promo that they don't keep track of after the 4 weeks and make you pay back what they charged you...because they were keeping track) and guess what...I'm DOUBLE CHARGED they never took off the amount I paid first and I get told by the Vice President pretty much that it's my fault and there's nothing they can do...except take my money(She didn't straight out say that but that is what I got from the conversation we had which was awkward and pointless because we got no where and nothing was settled or handled). They took it upon themselves to credit my account for my daughters last week and states I will get refunded the small amount left over per the Vice President lady. It's been almost a week and I have yet to be refunded, so I follow up and ask where's my refund...the director tells me "soon I'll get it".UM WHAT IS SOON?!! IT SOUNDS LIKE NEVER!!! This was my first encounter with a daycare facility and last we took my daughter out immediately. This had to have been the most unorganized, unprofessional, EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE I have ever dealt with.
