I had them replace an inner glass unit and repair several screens and a screen door. The estimating process went smoothly. I initially deferred to get the repairs done for a few months and requested a new estimate after the thirty day window had passed. I quickly got a new estimate and scheduled the service. They picked up my screens ahead of time and had them ready when they installed the new inner glass unit. Enrique showed up on time and was a pleasure to work with. He installed the IGU quickly and installed the repaired screens and screen door for me. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. I didn't get competitive quotes so I cannot compare pricing, but I'm satisfied with the value that received and will use them again if needed.

From start to finish they were fantastic. Orest came out for a free estimate, gave us a clear plan and a fair, firm price, and stuck to it. The work was fast but incredibly high quality -- they matched our wall texture and blended the paint so well you genuinely can't tell where the openings used to be, and the siding repairs look seamless. They each seem to have their own areas of specialization; Orest is amazing with logistics, one of his brothers is remarkable with tile, and the other brother seems to be a dependable and friendly jack of all trades! I've hired OrCo for two projects, tiling my sunporch as well as my kitchen and dining room. The sunporch was quick and painless, and their master tiler whipped it out in a day. The kitchen was a bit more of a challenge given the age of my home, unlevel surfaces, and surprise layers of linoleum lurking below what we thought was the bottom layer of flooring. The OrCo brothers were consumate professionals despite these challenges, and by some miracle they were still able to finish the job on time. Honestly, I still don't know how they did it! I love my floors! It's been several weeks since they finished the work, and every morning when I step into my kitchen I look upon the results with joy. I don't know why I didn't contact OrCo sooner! The floor is level, the grout is holding up, and the floors sparkle when I walk in the room. I sourced OrCo in the Projects section of Yelp, and their bid was one of the first responses I received when I published my request for proposal. What I love about the Yelp Projects Workspace is that approved vendors come with a $2500 guarantee from Yelp. That means if the project goes south, or I'm not pleased with the work, Yelp has me covered! OrCo came in with the second lowest bid, and I confidently booked the work based on their positive reviews and the Yelp guarantee. I am looking forward to hiring OrCo again. I don't have a lot of experience tackling big home projects like this, so next time I would like to have more options when it comes to finishing touches like the trim and thresholds for the doorways. Lisa and her designer created something that matched the rough thoughts we had, but went several steps beyond, making it better than what I had imagined in several ways. We started with some tired, neglected landscaping containing a lot of (sick) grass, and some drainage issues, and from that they created a mini nature park in our backyard, including a river-rock-filled dry creek bed, a packed gravel walkway around it, built-in drip irrigation, lighting, as well as a plan for trees and shrubs that will invite birds, bees, butterfiles, etc. This plan was executed by a company she frequently partners with - Oregon Outdoor Living - and they were great to work with as well. The workers are highly skilled and diligent. We're looking forward to see how it grows out! Communication has been excellent all of the way through. I don't think you can go wrong with her and her team.

With the heat we've had the past few summers and then the snow that seems to be a yearly event now, we thought it was time to get a really good widow upgrade. We also wanted out house painted after installation and Clear Choice set that up for us as well. (See my review for Triple A Painting). What we loved most about dealing with Clear Choice Windows & Doors was the personalized service we received. They have a large selection of window frame materials to choose from and our choice of fiberglass was an easy one. It was explained to us that fiberglass windows are stronger than both vinyl and wood, making them incredibly resilient to weather and climate -- perfect for PNW homeowners. From start to finish, our team of window installers provided friendly service, excellent craftsmanship, and it took only two days to install the 10 new windows in our home. Before, during and after, the team cleaned up and kept the work site tidy at all times. There was minimal damage to our landscaping as well. We can feel a definite difference in the inside temperature of our house since the new windows were installed. Our AC doesn't seem to work as hard and it takes less time to cool off in the summer and to heat in the winter. The outside look is classy and fits well with the style of our house and the neighborhood. We highly recommend Clear Choice Windows & Doors if you're looking for new windows.

We have used Clear Choice three times now. During the last time we used them to replace a window…read moreframe that was leaking water into the house. The crew that came out was very new and completely botched the job, breaking siding along the way. To Clear Choice's credit they sent out a more senior team member to fix the issue and said they would replace the siding. Unfortunately because they had to cover up all the issues the window frame is now twice the width of all my other window frames. Once the siding arrived I paid Clear Choice to paint the trim and siding. The crew came out to fix the siding and get things painted but they said they only would paint the trim even though I agreed with the project manager, Luke, that the siding would be painted as well since they broke the siding in the first place. In April the trim was painted and they said they would come back out to do the siding but they never came. After multiple messages to Luke and then to our original sales rep, Jeff (who is lovely!), we still do not have our siding painted. Jeff did everything he could to escalate the matter but after months of back and forth it is clear that Clear Choice does not have great internal communication between sales and the working technicians since even a small job could not be resolved despite multiple efforts from myself and their own colleague, Jeff. While we appreciate the work Clear Choice has done for us over the last several years, we will not be using them in the future, as I now need to buy paint and find another service to come out and paint our siding (which Clear Choice broke), leaving me in the negative for this project.
