Our group is very prepared, the road is paved, the space i got was nice. But because of my group…read moresize we had to pay for 2 camp sites. The portable potty is left to be desired. Better use the washroom somewhere else without having the thought of flies coming out of a hole . Otherwise I recommend this area with its amazing trail and river view.

That being said, I just loved this campsite. The site we got was glorious, leaning out over the incredible river, spacious with sun and shade, lots of trees between us and the next campers and a short walk to the toilets. They were pit toilets, and the water from the big spigot outside the toilets was not potable, but for us this is not make or break. At least the toilet areas were quite clean. We went on a nice hike along the river and were able to find sheltered spots to take a dip, and to see the spot where two very different rivers meet, giving the waters a bright stripe of glacier green against the deep, fast brown waters of the North Thompson. Not too buggy at all, and for me just enough trains to be a little romantic, not enough to be crazy-making. Would camp again. ;)

Guide Scott was extremely professional, kept us safe while having fun as well. Would not hesitate to recommend to a wide range of groups, well worth the time and money!

A group of friends and I took a five-day "raft and ride" trip last week with Liquid Lifestyles. We…read morerafted for 3.5 days and rode horses for 1.5 days. We had an amazing trip! The rafting was so much fun! Our guides, Christian, David, and Scott, were extremely knowledgeable about the river and made every rapid an adventure. Just as important was their attention to safety. They gave detailed information before each rapid regarding what we should expect, possible instructions they might give ("hard forward," "get down," or "paddle positions"), and high fives after each rapid. We had also practiced getting pulled into the boat, just in case one of us was tossed out in a rapid. No one was tossed out on our trip, but having the practice made everyone feel comfortable and secure with our guides. Our horse guide, Ben, was equally knowledgeable about the horses and the terrain, and also put safety first. He provided excellent instruction regarding the riding and the care of the horses (we were inexperienced riders). He even taught us what to do if a bear walked into camp! The meals, prepped by Andrea and cooked by the guides, was delicious! Andrea prepared healthy, gourmet meals which our guides cooked over campfires. Food in a five-star restaurant never tasted as good! The guides were all friendly and provided an above-and-beyond amazing trip for us. Camping on a beautiful, clean river in the stunning and remote wilderness of Wells Gray Provincial Park was a special experience, and one which none of us will ever forget. Many thanks to Scott, Andrea, Tanya, and the rest of the team for a wonderful trip!
