I've stayed at Timberline a couple times and had a good experience with the condos we got. Each…read moreunit is spacious with a full kitchen, one or more bedrooms and we were lucky to get a patio with great views. Unlike other rentals I got, they provide housekeeping daily, when some hotels don't even bother anymore (I know, Covid is the official excuse). Last time, we rented two bedrooms, there where a couple bathrooms, which was very convenient when the four of us wanted to shower. There is also a heated pool and jacuzzi, a game room, restaurant onsite and BBQs for the guests to enjoy. Timberline is located right on the slopes and you can call to get their free shuttle that will bring you to Snowmass base village, come back up using the gondola for fun!

The Timberline condos are located slope side next to the Village Chairlift. You have to take the…read moreVillage Chairlift to the halfway mark to ski down to the condo. From the condo you ski down to start your day and make sure you're dropped off above Timberline to make it back to the condo. Ski racks right next to the slopes are provided for the guests and you can ask the front desk for a lock. You want to keep your skis cold before hitting the mountain or ice will form at the bottom of your skis. The sidewalks and grill area have heated surfaces so you don't have to worry about slipping while walking around Timberline. It snowed the entire time while at Timberline during the week of NYE 2021-2022. Most flights were cancelled in and out of Aspen the week of NYE. I watched the flights for 10 days and United was on time maybe once. So we had to drive to and from Denver which wasn't a fun 4+ hour drive. The Condo must have been built around the early 1990s I am guessing. We stayed at two condos because our flight was cancelled and we had to stay an extra night. Sounds like most people missed their first night and stayed an extra night. So get insurance if you can't deal with being flexible. Four of us stayed in a 1 bedroom which worked out great because of the pullout couch and rollaway bed. The 2 bedroom would allow for more room and an extra bathroom but the one bedroom worked. Made most of our meals in the condo and used the grocery delivery service the Timberline recommended which was excellent. The on-site restaurant only serves dinner so prepare to figure out breakfast on your own. The ski in ski out allows you to enjoy skiing without the shuttle hassle and enjoy lunches in your condo! . All the restaurants on the slopes are overcrowded during the holidays so having lunch/rest in the condo was great. Timberline had hot tubs and a hot pool, but we never went because it required us to dress for outside before heading into the pool. They do have an inside changing area. The onsite restaurant had a German flavor and was excellent. Try the fondo for appetizer and dessert. The condo was dated so was the decor but the appliances were updated. Since the condo was dated it doesn't provide enough outlets to meet all your modern electronic needs.. I would bring extension cords or outlet strips to service all your electronics. Both condos had enough heat and had to turn them both down really low to get a comfortable temperature. Parking is provided in two lots next to the condo. Since it snowed so much, ask for the shovel to dig your way out of the parking lot. I wasn't planning on renting a car but since both flights into Aspen were cancelled I had no other option than to rent an AWD SUV in Denver. Glad I did because it was our only transportation to get to our flight in Denver. Timberline provides shuttle service to the Village, Mall, and airport. At times the shuttle ride is needed from the Mall because the 10 minute walk up the hill drains you. We rented from the onsite ski company Incline but it's better to head down to the Mall to rent your skis from the main store because they have a bigger selection. Returned the skis at the Aspen Incline store which was great. Since it was NYE don't miss out on the torchlight parade down the mountain. You take the Village chairlift up and use the torch down the mountain around 6pm at night. We bailed at the condo because we couldn't figure out how we would get back up the mountain to the condo. I guess we could have called the shuttle but didn't want to deal. The fireworks go off up the mountain near the condo so that was cool to watch from the slopes. Don't forget to get your free Smores at the mall at 3:30pm! They go out fast after a long day of skiing. The Mall does provide lots of shops and restaurant options. Overall we had a great time skiing Snowmass and Aspen with all the snow that mother nature provided. The ski in/out option was great and met all our needs. I kept on reading that Snowmass/Aspen was a high end ski resort but I think Vail, Northstar, and Park City have more high end needs on the slopes than Snowmass/Aspen. The cancelled flights and the Denver drive kind of didn't help improve my experience.

While my condo was nice, colleagues a building down had a terrible experience. I lived here for 2 months so I think I can give a pretty good overview. My condo was on the third floor of the middle set of buildings on the upper street. We had a pretty view from our balcony, and the apartment was very nicely stocked. We had plenty of plates, cooking equipment, cookware, 500+ cable channels, good internet, lots of blankets and pillows, and plenty of comfortable furniture. Everything in the condo is very dated and used but clean. We did have major issues with running out of water and not having hot water, which was super annoying. However, we had plenty of towels and a small stock of toilet paper to start. The major perks of this complex are the the pool and the location. You can walk to Clark's Market, Sundance Linquor, Mountain Bayou, and Taster's, which was really nice after work. There is also a Snowmass shuttle service that will drive you to anywhere in Snowmass, and the RFTA bus stop is a short two minute walk from the entrance of the complex at Faraway Road. I also loved having a pool, and it was usually clean, although occasionally filthy. Other than that, the management does a fairly poor job of maintaining the complex. The hot tub was boarded up all summer, and it would have been nice to use on cold nights. When I went to pick up my parking permit, I pointed out that our parking seemed to be over crowded with people who did not have permits. The woman at the desk told me that, "That's just how it is here." She was super lazy, and we were almost always out of parking. Our condo was supposed to get weekly house cleaning, and it never came all summer. Finally, despite having no water pressure, my tub drained super slowly, and there was no one to help. So while my condo was fine, this complex leaves a lot to be desired.

Well the good news is this place is cheap. You can definitely stay here on a budget. Also the…read moreshuttle service between Woodbridge Condos and Snowmass/Aspen is very strong, although that's more a credit to the shuttle service than it is to the condos themselves. Unfortunately, that's about the extent of the positives. What's wrong with Woodbridge Condos? -The condos are SMALL. Way smaller than they look in the pictures. -There is literally nothing in the kitchen. If you plan to cook, be ready to buy your own salt and pepper -You would think that a place that advertises it can fit six people in a two bedroom condo with a sleeper sofa would be prepared with enough pillows in the condo so that everybody could have one. Unfortunately this was not the case, and when we called the association there was not a single pillow to be found. People had to sleep with towels under their heads. -The hot tub here was not working for the first three days we were here. It was sitting at around 80 degrees, which is really not enough to even keep the blood flowing out in the cold up at altitude. I don't know about you, but I really can't go a day of skiing without getting into a hot tub afterward. This was unacceptable. So yeah... i mean its a roof and its not too far from the mountain. But I'd way rather pay a few extra bucks and be comfortable and happy.

Once I got there I was disappointed, the decor was horrendous and the place looked like it had been made in the 1700's. That's not even the worse part! I walked into the bathroom and the lights were flickering and when I tried to use the dresser drawer the drawer fell out! I was in shock. But I decided that it was not that serious and I walked to go take a shower I turned it on and the whole handle fell off I tried to make it work and repair it but the whole shower stoped working! We called the front desk and they said a Plummer was going to come out but NO, during my whole visit the Plummer did not come once! Around two days after the shower I called the front desk again and the had no clue what to do. Also the hotel did not inform us that there was going to be construction while we stayed so there was lots of noise the whole time! Next off the pool I was so excited to go take a nice relaxing dip after worrying about the shower all day so I went down ready to swim... THE SWIMMING POOL WAS GREEN!!! You could not see the bottom because it was so murky and trashy and it looked like it had not been cleaned in years! Other things that went wrong was the bathrooms yet agin, the water did not turn on in our sink for like a whole day, we could not wash our hands or anything! And when you used the toilet you would have to hold the flushing handle down for a while until it would actually flush. What a disappointment! And I had to shower in my kids shower because mine did not work and the faucet knobs did not work, I could only access the coldest water like what the heck! It said that some renovations had taken place but I went here 20 years ago and it was the same! The whole point is don't waste your money on this place when you can get a much nicer place for less money and the same place. If I could do 0 stars I would. I demand a refund!

There was only beds & bedding for 4. No extra sheets, no blankets what so ever. The couch smells really bad. The fire is impossible to keep going. Beds were very uncomfortable. The cups were stained. When we arrived the kitchen table was dirty. There was absolutely no upside with this property, don't waste your money. I wouldn't stay for free if offered

The condo overlooked the VILLAGE EXPRESS chairlift and the view was fascinating...constantly changing and always interesting. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the large dining room table provided, not only ample space for our family of 7, but plenty of room for games and conversation! Although the free shuttle service was excellent, the short walk to the main village was (about 1/2 mile) was delightful. There was also a special going on which allowed us to book lift tickets and rentals at half price. The condo was very nice and we all enjoyed our stay. It had a small living room with a couch, 2 chairs, a table, and a gas fireplace. The kitchen had a center island for prep, a long table with chairs and a bench, an oven/range, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer with ice/water, a dish washer, and a washer/dryer. It was also fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. There's also grills outside which we got some use out of, it was a nice Weber in good shape and we made some delicious burgers on it. There was a downstairs bedroom with a king bed and it's own bathroom. Upstairs there were 2 rooms with 2 beds each and a bathroom to share. The third room upstairs had a king bed and a bathroom. I was a little disappointed because the description of all the 4 bedroom condos online state that there is a fireplace in the master bedroom however ours did not. The bed I slept in was comfortable and I didn't hear any complaints from anyone else. The hot water tank isn't that big so the last 1 or 2 people to take a shower took a cold one. The water pressure was great and I felt quite refreshed. Shampoo and soap are included and seemed to be of decent quality. Towels were changed out every day. We turned on the TV once or twice and it seemed to have a decent selection of channels. All the bedrooms had an alarm clock, some had iPod docks. The heat in the condo worked well however make sure you set the humidifier properly. Check in and check out were a breeze. They will give you as many keys as you want but if you lose them it's a $100 charge. Parking for up to 2 vehicles was free. The hot tub closes at 9 which is a bummer, we didn't even get a chance to use it because we were busy most the day until 10. The condo worked out great for our trip and I would highly recommend looking in to them if you're traveling with 6-8 people.
