I went here for blood work through quest. But they were great. I arrived super early because I was already in town (I live over an hour away). At first they informed me it would be a long wait but still checked me in. Then someone else came and told me it would be better if I come back. But I had no where to go. I was like um. I'll wait. The medical care has been fine but they are so short staffed administratively that they cannot provide care. I requested a refill on a prescription two weeks ago. They sent refill to pharmacy but they didn't tell me it needed a prior authorization. When I called last week, they said they had sent it. Today they admitted they did not send it and that they are so back logged that it takes 6-8 weeks for them to submit prior authorizations for routine refill requests. This is a crazy unacceptable detail, and to make it worse they never told me of the delay. When I asked for a phone number to the leadership team, the PA was done within an hour. Previously I had to call / send portal message 4 times for a refill and was then told they were back up and I should call every time I need a refill instead of using the refill line or portal refill. I can't say enough good things about the coordinated care I got when I had Covid. It was over the Christmas/New Year holidays and the staff got back to me right away. I was able to speak to a nurse within five minutes. My husband goes to a different large practice (not InterMed) and they got back to him too late to start Paxlovid and is now at urgent care getting seen. I have been with Intermed for 20 + years bc my PCP (Mary Connolly) is part of that team, and I have been impressed with the communication between team members--a major virtue in healthcare. When I call in about something, staff act very professionally, and my info seems to get to the right person within a reasonable amount of time. Offices are convenient to each other (at least for someone with a car) and I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes for a test or an exam and I have always treated with courtesy. Staff introduce themselves (not always the case in many health situations.) Negatives: The initial phone contact is terrible--I think they've had the same dreadful repeating song on the waitline the entire time I've been going there. It haunts my dreams, as there is virtually always a wait. The user website is somewhat clunky--takes some practice to get to where one needs to go to communicate with them. On the up side, there is tons of info available there. I'd give them 4.5 if I could. read more

I went here for the first time after talking to my insurance provider. I requested to get an MRI which they approved. They then gave me a few options on places to go. Most of them costing 1500.00 - 900.00. With InterMed costing 500.00. So I decided to go here. I was told by a few people that their MRI machine is on the smaller side but also one of the newest. It is in a very easy place to get in and out of it. Pretty much right off the turnpike Jetport exit. Trying to get into contact with their office over the phone was a whole ordeal that took days on end of phone tag. When I went into the front office staff was very friendly and kind. The doctors themselves well I can't say were unkind I will say they were stand-offish making me feel as if I was more of a bother than a patient. It might have been a tough day for them. However, anyone getting an MRI might require a softer touch. I had to wear inside the Machine which I did not mind but some may not like doing. No music or anything offered while in the machine. It was a standard visit nothing really stood out. Plenty of seating in the waiting area and a quick turnaround on my results. All in all good price decent people good location. I've had intermed for years...always had super polite nurses , great doctors and their team are always on top of things. If you need a medication refilled you don't have to worry about not hearing back and dealing with a bunch of crap. All around great woman's health center read more

I brought my son here because he thought he had a sinus infection. Visit was 5 minutes long. He was told to get over-the-counter medicine. Bill was $180 out-of-pocket. Would have been less expensive to go to a quick care clinic (Convenient MD) than going here. Will not go here again. read more

I had a physical today. The experience at Intermed is rather subpar. Multiple Rand forms dumped on you, terrible long circular machine waits on the phone, terrible user interfaces. It's clear that customer experience is really not a top priority. Intermed is a big machine without a friendly touch. If you can find another provider I would strongly recommend it. read more

I wish I could give them a higher rating then 5 *'s. Every visit to Intermed has been great. They are very efficient and caring. All appointments have been on time and Dr. Vietor has been wonderful. She has spent a lot of time listening and talking to me and quickly addressing my concerns. Her office is great about reporting back lab and test results. And I love the fact that when I call them back, there is a live person who answers and can answer my questions. I would highly recommend Intermed and Dr. Vietor to anyone looking for a great medical facility and doctor. read more
