Literally floor to ceiling, every room in what appeared to be an old converted house, was packed with books of all genres while maintaining a clean and well organized environment. While I was just browsing, I'm sure they had anything you may desire. From standard used books they also had more collectible editions, great for not only adding to your own but also gifting. There was even some seating available in some of the rooms so one could even take a little break from perusing. Like any used book store, you never know what you will find. Most of the books are obtained through donations, and some are from discarded library books. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have asked them to be on the lookout for a couple of authors or books. Some they have found, while some have been shelved by other staff. All in all, they do a great job. They are very friendly. There are a massive amount of 50 cent paperback novels. It's located in the basement of the Main Street Public Library.

They offer insultingly low payouts, no matter the quality or value of your books. I recently brought in several thick, high-quality books and was given barely anything for them. The pricing process is completely opaque, with no explanation of how they determine value. To make things worse, customer service is awful. The employees seem uninterested and dismissive, acting as if they're doing you a favor by taking your books off your hands. There's no negotiation, no respect for sellers, and no reason to bring your books here unless you want to be ripped off. Save yourself the frustration--sell elsewhere or donate your books to people who will actually appreciate them!

Sqecial Media is a popular store located right off U.K. campus. First, you must call to set up an appointment to shop. The store is small so they only allow a certain amount of people inside. They have different hours as well. Upon entering, they require a face mask and hand sanitizer before browsing the store. The location is literally right off campus. Parking can be annoying in this area. There is street parking in front or a small parking lot behind the store. Keep this in mind when visiting. There are a couple of other businesses located in the same building: a Korean restaurant (delicious) and a music store downstairs. If you're looking for a fun and unique store, definitely visit!

The would go through my books, determine their value, and give me their offer. While I was waiting, I looked through the store. The book selection really is great! The books are all at least in "good" condition if not like-new. After about 45 minutes I was called to the service desk for my offer. I was slightly stunned that I only was offered $13 in exchange for the ~50ish books I brought in! Especially given the prices of books I noted when I was browsing their inventory. I took the cash though, because really I was just trying to clutter clear. I think in the future though I will just pass along books to friends!

**April 2025: Monday Afternoon Visit**…read more I was visiting the campus during my Spring Break and wanted to commemorate the visit with some Wildcat gear. This bookstore is pretty massive and has all types of sweatshirts and merch to proudly rep the campus. There were items for mens, women, kids, babies, alumnis' and some for specific departments like nursing, business, etc. It's also has a Starbucks and all the course books for students. I don't recall a changing room, but there were at least 2 floor length mirrors if you wanted to see what the merch looked like on. I ended up buyng a long sleeve basketball shirt to proudly wear for my high school's college wear Wednesdays. There's $2 an hour for parking in the visitor parking lot (right next door) and a big UK sign at the front. During my visit I saw quick a few students take graduation photos there. This store definitely has the widest selection of UK gear that I saw in the area.
