It's as if the school system wants to dumb kids down rather than educate them the right way. Thankfully, we found Mathnasium at the suggestion of a friend who highly recommended their tutoring service. They have been a Godsend to us. Our son has thrived in Math class with the assistance of his Math Tutors at Mathnasium. He religiously goes 2-3 times a week and it has made a huge difference with him. He has never scored less then a 90 on a test while being tutored at Mathnasium. This is his second year at Mathnasium as a 7th Grader. He finished the 6th Grade last year with an A in Math but the Mathnasium he had gone to closed their doors down in early summer 2017. He began the 7th grade without the help of any tutoring. We just didn't have another Mathnasium close by our home to get him there after school. He started out okay initially, but quickly began to struggle again a month after school started and failed 2 tests that devastated his average. Thankfully, by this time a new Mathnasium opened up its doors right down the street from the old one that is actually a little closer to us. Mathnasium of West Marietta opened its doors in the Fall of 2017 under the guidance of Anup Wassan and his staff. He and his staff quickly got to work with our son and began where the old Mathnasium left off. Our son is once again thriving in Math. He gets it again, enjoys working hard, learning and showing his Mathnasium tutors all the A's he's been getting on tests and quizzes since they started helping him again. He has brought his grade back up to an A. His confidence is up and we credit Anup and his staff at Mathnasium of West Marietta. We highly recommend them if your child needs help with Math. They teach Math the right way.

I still remember our frustration over our daughter's struggle through her classes, especially in Math during her elementary school years. Even with the elementary school's after school tutoring, she was barely passing. Her mother and I knew things would only get more difficult in middle school, which led us to Mathnasium. The first day she came into the office, Kim guided her through the steps of a Math problem, and we all saw that she did understand; she just lacked the confidence to follow through. This little bit of hope is what convinced me that Mathnasium was the answer. By attending Mathnasium 2 or 3 times a week, our daughter significantly improved her grades not only in Math but in all her classes! Thanks to Kim and her team, our daughter will be attending college in the Fall! The program price is well worth the results!

It really didn't take much to sell me because a good friend of mine referred me. Anyway, here we are barely 3 weeks into school and my son brings home a math sheet. My son breezed through his math homework, asked no questions and was confident in doing math for the first time EVER! He ended his 3rd grade year with a 1 on his report card in math. Whatever the case may be, the confidence he now has, the decreased anxiety and the look on his face when he shows understanding of how to do his work is priceless. Thank you so much for all you do!!! The entire staff!

I came to DigitalCrafts with no experience except for some free online resources. I admit there were times during the course that were pretty intense. This course requires that you put in the time to learn the material. You continue to build on content from day one. If you are willing to put in the time and effort you will be successful. I had Rob as an instructor and he was great! If we had trouble during the course Rob was willing to help, we just needed to keep him in the loop on our progress. When it came time to start looking for jobs Jake was a big asset in helping us look for postings and letting us know when there were oportunities within the employer network. With their help I was able to secure a front-end development internship at the end of week 12. I feel confident in my new skills and look forward to what the future holds

I found this school online and I contacted the director to know more about the services they provided. Since the first conversation we had on the phone, he was very friendly and helpful. He never seemed to promise me anything fake to market himself or the school, and I never felt pushed to "close the deal". He asked me a bunch of questions regarding when, where, and the time of the day I wanted to study and he ended up making sure I got all my preferences. On my first day of classes everyone I met at the school was smiling and the staff already knew my name, which made me feel extremely welcome. My teacher was always very knowledgeable and she clearly had lots of experience teaching. The classes felt "easy to follow" and I thought they were productive. Lastly, the school location was convenient and the prices were fair. Overall, I would say I had a great experience as a student at The Language Island!

This mission has guided us as we have expanded from humble beginnings to become the premiere language-tutoring service in the Metro Atlanta area. Language Island instructors are an elite group of highly-educated and experienced teachers and tutors who are truly passionate about their students. Unlike tutoring centers that take a one-size-fits-all approach to language instruction, The Language Island recognizes that every student is unique. Teachers assess each student on a case-by-case basis and develop a curriculum that is custom-tailored to his or her individual needs. We provide a variety of class options designed to accommodate students of all ages and backgrounds. These include small group and one-on-one classes on our campus near Cumberland Mall, as well as private, in-home tutoring all over the city. Our tutors recognize that students have many commitments outside The Language Island. They work with students to develop class schedules that fit around their busy lives.

At 10 am there were at least 15 people there to take their exams and no one was at this business. One guy had driven to hours given this was the closest site to him open on a Saturday. It's now 10:30 am and the business remains closed. We all call and no one answers the phone. Finally at 11 am a young woman shows up and simply says there was a scheduling problem. She does not offer an apology. By the time I get registered for my exam, it's 11:30. I ask if I get a 5 min break as told by my program. She tells me there are no breaks for my 3 hour exam. After the halfway mark, the computer tells me I can take a 5 min break if I choose to. I take the break and have to get her to log me back into the system after the break. I complete and end the exam 8 minutes early and waited for the screen to tell me if I passed. Nothing. I ask her why my pass/fail did not appear on the screen and she tells me the policy for this exam is they will email me and let me know. Rather than argue with her, I review my exam information and they state I should get my score immediately after the exam. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone to use this testing site. They are unprofessional and uninformed. While several of us were still in testing mode, the door to the testing room was left open for More than -0 minutes leaving us to deal with the noise from the center. This business should be closed. Avoid. If I have to take my exam over, I would drive an extra 45 minutes to avoid testing at this location.

There's plenty of parking available in this lot since there's a parking deck. I got lucky and caught beautiful fall weather today, so I didn't mind the walk from the deck. The entrance to the suite is on the main level with Iron Age, and the pathway adjacent to Iron Age will lead you to ATG. The location is pretty zen and relaxing for those to need a more peaceful environment before taking a exams. Masks are required for entry! Upon entry, I was greeted by a staff member, and was promptly checked-in to take my exam. You'll need two forms of identification (I used my driver's license and debit card.) They have lockers you can lock your personal things in, and they are pretty large so could fit a handbag. I opted not to bring any personal items with me though, so I had a huge locker for my keys and 2 IDs. Remember your locker number and the staff will unlock after your exam. The facility was clean and surprisingly comfortable. I would wear something warm if you tend to get cold because they definitely had the air running. I think it depends on the exam you're taking, but I was provided a dry-erase board, marker, and calculator. Staff enters upon the end of each exam to sanitize and prepare for the next proctored exam, so there's a lot of traffic noise. I didn't notice until after I passed my exam that there was a giant jar of earplugs available at the entrance of the exam room. I thought it was a jar of candy (Halloween thoughts LOL) or else I definitely would have benefited from them lol. I also think you will instantly get the results of your exam depending on what exam you're taking, but for me I was able to know immediately. Staff will hand you your results and sign you out. The entire process was a breeze and stress free. *if you have disabilities you can apply for testing accommodations with the agency you are testing with! Majority of the time you will need to provide medical documentation and do so 2 - 3 weeks in advance.
