After a few weeks of attempting to study for the test on my own, I made the same choice many in my position do, and I reluctantly signed up for a very expensive class. Ultimately, this turned out to be a great decision. The Good: James, the Atlanta instructor, is why this review gets five stars. He is fantastic. He teaches the required curriculum, but then he goes beyond that and helps students understand the test, the best guessing strategies, and even those pesky math fundamentals that I have not used since high school. What I feel set this class apart from experiences my peers have had with other companies, is that James was always available. Even 4 months after the class, when I it was Steve vs. the GMAT, round II, I still got help with my GMAT questions via email. The online tutorial sessions are also fantastic. You can use them to supplement your in class and at home work, and ensure that you stay on track. What I liked most about them, is that they tended to be very personalized. The attendance was low, so it was typically a 3:1 ratio, which provided a very interactive learning environment. My only complaint about the class, is that they don't have a very solid "guarantee." After my first try at the test, I needed more help, and though James was available to answer specific questions, and the online materials were at my finger tips, I would have appreciated a chance to sit for more live classes. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend MGMAT to anyone.

I was honest and basically said I didn't think he was very good. They cancelled my remaining classes with that instructor, apparently the instructor said I was argumentative and a bunch of BS that was not true AT ALL. Complete lies. They also sent an e-mail to my boss, who was paying for the training, telling them lies about how I was disrupting the class and etc. The class was all virtual, I had hoped it was all recorded WHICH IT SHOULD BE IF ITS VIRTUAL, that is an easy thing to do, keeps everyone accountable, and allows students to rewatch trainings. However, no, it was not recorded so it was just my word vs the instructor and I could not prove otherwise. In short, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. Use someone else. Not only are they bad teachers but they lied and went out of their way to smear me to my boss.

I found reviews on Google though that were…read morevery positive, so I decided to try Code One via the Atlanta location to get my ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. I'm a nurse and have had many rounds of renewing these certifications at different places in other states I have lived. It's usually been a draining process and takes a lot of time. Code One made it so efficient and I was able to do the learning portions online during my own time, then the skills test was done at an appointment that I chose that fit my schedule. The appointment was at their office location off Glenridge. I chose the virtual instructor testing session because I hadn't done the skills testing with the automated system before. Sean was my instructor and he was so helpful and friendly. He helped me go through each round of testing and it was a very smooth and efficient process. I received my certifications via text and email not long after my skills testing. I couldn't believe how straight forward the whole process was compared to my previous experiences and I will absolutely use Code One again for future renewals!
