Bad reviews? So…read moreyesterday I went to DC Klinieken, right across from the Byzantium parking garage in Amsterdam (Tesselschadestraat). I went in fully prepared for the whole "bad reception, etc. etc." experience people apparently talk about. Instead... it was clean. Very friendly ladies everywhere. Downstairs at the entrance they were genuinely kind. Upstairs at the ultrasound department, same story: warm welcome, friendly staff. The female doctor doing the scan was kind, took her time, and explained everything clearly. And when I left, it honestly felt like I'd just attended a family birthday party, because everyone said goodbye so nicely. I think you'd have to be having a very bad day yourself to find anything to complain about here. My experience? Excellent. Better than your average hospital in the Netherlands. I'm almost starting to think that if I ever feel a bit off, I might just swing by DC Klinieken for a quick ultrasound check-up.

So, therefore I booked an eye exam online, which made it mush easier to select a time. I loved the shop and customer service here. The staff was very friendly and professional, which was a winner for me. I definitely intend on coming back again. They also have a great sell at the moment-you can buy two glasses for one. The protocol requires the patient to be in-patient until clearly ready to go home. Recovery was excellent. Far lower cost to our insurance company. Surgeon trained in the US. Didn't want to practice there because the actual care is so far superior in The Netherlands.
