They said they could not perform the recall today and I would have to bring it back in due to it not being able to go into electric mode but when they pulled it up they were able to get it to go into electric mode but it was to late for the tech to work on it again. I go out to the jeep and the dashboard has oil change needed light on and service hybrid system light on, along with the battery being charged to 90 percent that we have been told not to charge due to the fire risk. This is after the service manager literally laughs in my face saying if it was a liability having the battery charged his technician wouldn't have released it to him. They are the most incompetent service department I've ever had to deal with they took a simple job and made a mess of it. Now I have to take it to a real dealership to fix whatever they messed up. Two things I will substantiate though 1) If you are looking for an odd ball hard to find battery try them first. They either have it or can get it. And 2) They take your old batteries for recycling, at no charge. I like the business especially for reason 2. I had a big battery pack that needed to be recycled. As far as I know this is one of the few places that will take them. Thank You, Batteries Plus. Save up your old lithium-ion batteries and drop them off here, versus the city garbage.
