Jason the owner of CDL/ LD truck repair a company I called Tuesday 3/29/2022 to do repairs on my…read moretruck in Hammond Louisiana where my fan hub went out on my truck failed to show up when he said he would had me sitting up waiting on him until midnight and he was a no show I again called him Wednesday morning 3/30/2022 to see if he could still fix my truck he said he had someone on the way the boy he sent called me almost an hour later to tell me he was leaving to head my way I decided then to let Petro do the work on my truck because the guys at LD/ CDL truck repair are total failures while Petro was working on my truck the boy text me and told me he had a wheel seal to go out on the service truck I'm glad I had Petro working on it because I'd never got it finished with the guys at LD/CDL truck repair doing the work. Petro finished the repairs and I left so I could get my load delivered. Jason's worthless handyman called me to ask where I was parked I told him I had already left and the repairs were already done on my truck then Jason the owner of LD/CDL truck repair sent me a very ugly text I called him and ask what his problem was he (Jason) then started threatening to kill me for not letting him do the work and for not telling him that I had already had my repairs done I didn't feel like I owed him any common cirdecy to inform him of that because his company had already failed me twice then he ( Jason) told me he had my home address and that he would come to my home to kill me I told him I wasn't going to be at home until April 11th that my wife is would take care of things accordingly because Florida has the stand your ground law the he ( Jason) told me that my wife had better sleep lightly for her own sake. So he (Jason) not only threatened my life but my wife's also, then he (Jason) contacted the company I'm leased to getting them involved in the matter also lying to them about the situation. I was informed by the police department where I was located at the time of Jason making his threats towards me and my wife to file a police report in my home town on this matter then take a warrant out on him for making terrorists threats against me and for my wife to do the same thing so see the $250.00 he was screaming about is going to cost him alot more and I will not tolerate being threatened by someone for no reason, it's time for people to wake up and realize it is highly against the law in every state in the United States to threaten to kill or do bodily harm to someone verbally or in writing and it doesn't matter if it's on the phone or in person and I will be pursuing this all the way to the end to make sure another truck driver/ Owner operator never had to endure what I had to from the owner (Jason) of LD/ CDL truck repair in the future. Despite my returning the truck immediately after the initial visit and clearly stating what needed to be done, the issue was not resolved correctly. At that time, I had a discussion with Service Manager Dale Coon and the Parts Manager regarding hard-wiring the truck. Despite this, the truck was not hard-wired as requested. After the second round of repairs, Dale admitted he wished they had hard-wired it from the beginning--confirming that decisions were made without a clear plan, and that the service department lacks proper direction or accountability. I am also frustrated by what seemed like an experimental approach--replacing parts such as wiring harnesses, SSAM, and ECP--without effectively restoring the truck to its original state. It felt like repairs were being guessed at, all at my expense. If you did not have a clear solution from the beginning, I should have been presented with options--not hit with thousands in charges for a problem that should have been resolved correctly the first time. As the oldest Western Star Dealer, I expected a level of professionalism and technical competence that was simply not delivered. The way my truck--and my money--were handled is unacceptable. I strongly urge you to review this situation and take accountability, both for the service outcome and the excessive costs charged. Hopefully this will help future customers.
