Have not had a chance to take it to a RV park for full hookup. Anyway, I called in the the main number and with my local store closed on Saturday the operator put me through to the Hammond store. I was having an issue with the furnace not coming on and also couldnt get the oven to ignite. The hammond store put me to their service tech Jeremy. Let me say, this gentleman was very helpful and polite. he talked me through both issues and now I know how to fix those should it happen again. I got the congratulatory text from salesman, made plans about when i would arrive in Florida from Texas. Some 30 plus hours later on Sat 3/8/25 salesman called to tell me another party had put deposit before me , really, took 30 hours to figure out ? OK , fine as I wasn't getting the warm fuzzy about this place with all the high pressure I was receiving, just give me my deposit back. I was told my deposit would be issued then ( Sat morning ) . Monday afternoon no credit posted, called dealer reassured it was coming. Wednesday 3/12/25 still no credit posted. COMPLETE waist of $1900. If I had a burn or tear less than 1 inch on my sofa , they would cover it , but 10 inches of peeling fake leather, nope, Factory defect. Not cover it. Paint peeling on the outside , they will buff it out, but not gonna fix the peeling paint on the crown of the front. Not covering it. Peeling vinyl sticker on the glass front, Nope. Not their problem. Not covering any of it. Our fault because we didn't coat it with some chemical I have never heard of, was never told about no where in any paperwork we were given. DO NOT buy any extended warranty , on paint, vinyl or upholstery, that is not Good Sam. The saying they screw you in the drive through. I say they screw you with warranty in checkout. We were screwed out of $1900 , no recourse, they get to just refuse to fix and you can do nothing about it. Don't buy the tire and wheel warranty either, took 2 months to get a tire that they went across the street to buy from a tire store. They didn't want to cover that either, but I gave them no choice. Talked to their higher ups. If it is not a Good Sam warranty, DON'T BUY IT. These outside companies will screw you.

Many of them sound very reasonable over the phone, but when talks continued and details are revealed the information that started out was slightly deceptive. I didn't expect anything different from Miller's RV, but the salesman Trey sounded very honest and accommodating, so discussions continued. Several dealers had the unit I wanted, a Thor Scope 18ZS but there were always "add on's" and surprise fees as I got closer to a deal. With Miller's RV the discussion never changed. What they listed was what you got. That settled it for me. I traveled 1200 miles to make the deal. Being so far from home, I was a little nervous as I had committed myself and was at their mercy. When I got to Miller's the experience could not have gone better. The unit was clean, prepped and ready and their shop guy Pete was down to earth and explained every detail about the unit systems and maintenance etc. He was a wealth of knowledge. Best of all, during this whole process there were zero surprises! They went out of their way to make things easy and pleasant. They even surprised me with a $100 store credit after all was done so I could have supplies and anything I needed for my ride home. Miller's RV is a class operation.
