He seemed kind of strange but knowledgeable and I was desperate for a primary care. Oh by the way- Dr. James Merlin Hawk originally practiced medicine in San Bernardino CA and had his California license revoked. How he ended up in Harrison Arkansas I have no idea. He also apparently ran a pain clinic- of which I was not a part of. Anyway- one day my late husband and I were at his office in a exam room waiting for Dr. Hawk to appear for my appointment. A hour went by. Now this is a tiny funky dink kkk ran town with a population of about 12,000 " people" My husband was a cigarette smoker and began to get antsy and wanted to go out and have a cigarette. He did and a Nurse or something came and opened the exam room door and glared at me. Next thing I was being thrown out of the office and banned.
