I love the inventory they carry, most is pricey but it appears to be well made items and worth it if based on inventory alone but it's not. Unfortunately, out of the 10 or more times I've been in the customer service is deplorable. Not once have my family (visiting tourists), my friends nor myself been acknowledged in anyway either upon entering, browsing or leaving. Total silence. One time I was standing 5' away when a wine seller/or distributor and an employer/owner (older woman with gray hair) were discussing wine placement on a shelf, they were discussing which sells best where etc., When the wine representative or employee suggested based on price vs.taste vs sales a specific shelf for better overall sale's, the employee/owner stated "I don't have sophisticated customers, they won't notice the difference anyway." Hello? I'm a customer sophisticated or not I'd appreciate not being called uncouth while in the shop to spend my money. This was the last time I entered this establishment, which is a shame I had my eyes on 3 wall sconces I was going to purchase. Between the lack of acknowledgement by employees/owner, the total silence (no music or anything) in the background and the uncomfortable feeling of shopping in total silence added to the fact customers are considered unsophisticated I'd personally shop elsewhere. I shopped at this retail store largely because of how I felt they carried about my wants and needs. Kandi was attentive through my entire transaction and that was so appreciated. I would go back here in a heartbeat. Love my new four season porch and new so comfortable Berber carpet! read more

Stopped in to browse and shop for gifts today. Unfortunately the staff who was at the counter today doesn't have any tact or respect for their patrons. My sons wife picked up a candle to look at, then the store employee told her "that's fifty dollars do you mind putting it down". I am not one to place a negative review, and actually this might be my first but it is very warranted here. This woman said it out loud, in front of shoppers and my grandchildren. This employees actions were disgusting and uncalled for. I hope the owner is reading this review. I will never step foot in this store again! read more

What a fabulous, eclectic store right in the middle of the main shopping street in this picturesque little lakeside town! Whether your decorating your home or better yet, your cabin in a rustic chic manor, looking for a gift for a special child, woman or man, or just looking to pick up some handmade jewelry , hand poured soy candles, fun seasonal items, this place has got you covered! There's something new and unique at every turn! The place is packed with the coolest stuff! Furniture and larger pieces, to place settings, lovely picnic baskets, it's all just so fun. The prices weren't as high as one may assume in a boutique like this. We left with a funky beaded boho necklace and the most delicious smelling candle! Knocking off a star because I felt as though the owner really didn't like having the littles in her store with so many fragile items. Could be wrong, but I don't think so. Perhaps if your kiddos are wild, leave them outside, or send them across the street to The Toy Emporium with Dad. Grab some pizza next door! Delish! We were shopping some local stores on Sherman when we stopped by this one the other day, after a super cute store next to it. We were the only customers in the store and we were in there for about 1O minutes looking around and not once did the two women sitting at the front desk/check out stand say hello, or even acknowledge us, nor did they say goodbye to us when we felt a weird vibe being in there with them. Glad that business is so good for them in times like this, where customer service/acknowledgement is out the window. Glad I found the cute store next to them, while making it a point to try this store though. read more

The Worse!! The worst customer service! Been in this store every summer on vacation, owner and employee never greets you, ask if they can help you, and no thanks for coming in. My sister and and I would have loved to have purchased something, but never have because of the owner/employees lack of any sort of customer service! I will say they are consistent, always bad service! Do your self a favor and go a couple doors down to "mix it up" lovely store, friendly, helpful, awesome! read more

Total lack of service. Beautiful store but have never had anyone greet me, ask if I needed assistance or anything! I vacation In Couer d'alene regularly and have been in this store several times. Staff have been on their phone or talking to each other and not bothered to even look up. I would never buy anything there! Go to Mix It Up-great service there. read more
