I love this place! I've been here at least 10 times. The staff isn't overly friendly, but they aren't miserable either, they do the job and are professional. The kitchen staff seem to be more pleasant than the cashiers, in my experience. The prices here are comparable to other c-stores, but this place wins due to the kitchen. They make fresh sandwiches, burgers, fries etc. upon order. They have a decent craft beer and wine selection and if stopping in for same, you'll definitely find something you haven't had before. Parking is relatively easy as they have a garage on the side with a door inside the garage so you don't have to walk all the way around, A+ for that! They lose a star with me as one Saturday I stopped in about 8:45 am and they told me they weren't serving breakfast. I was annoyed as I really wanted a breakfast sandwich. Stopped in here to grab some brew before the performance at The Village Theatre down the street and was really impressed with the selection. This isn't your typical convenience store fare, kids: they had La Fin du Monde in a 4-pack! It was much more like my beloved Savi than I had expected, and I hope that the neighborhood is supportive of their slightly upper class ways. I know I'll be back here, as they've got easy parking around back, the service was super friendly, prices reasonable, and they had some beers I hadn't ever heard of. I love markets like this...ones that offer all of the basic "intown living" necessities like beer and wine (awesome selection, as well as a beer cooler), ice cream, condiments, medicine, hot food, pizza, some produce...you name it. My boyfriend was the one who first brought me here because he loves their growler selection...we also needed a quick, close place to buy dog food. :) The second I walked in...I knew this was going to become one of my go to places. And it has. Prices are very reasonable for a market (a tad higher, but not much compared to a grocery store). Service is top notch! Not only is everyone friendly, but if you have any questions about their beer/wine selection...they have the answers for you. Bonus - there are a few spots in front of the market to make it easy to get in and out. They also have a few picnic tables in front if you want to grab a bite and eat it there. I live in the Mattress Factory Lofts right up the street from this awesome little shop and I find myself forever praising its existence. Great selection of beer, along with the growlers, and the terrific wine deals. Their sandwiches are really good, their tuna salad is the best. This place is a great place to grab a quick bite and some good beer in the O4W. The deli counter has great choices for sandwiches and salads. Very solid food at great prices. Plus the beer selection there is amazing for a store of its type and size. This is also the best place to pick up beer if you are going to the Village Theatre for an improv show and forgot it was BYOB. Just down the street and have everything you could want. read more

They've done away with the growler station, but have added a ton of craft beer options instead. They've also done away with the small produce section (this was mostly onions, bell peppers, and some lettuces, etc.) but that is okay with me. There are still fresh dairy and deli products along with your typical gas station fare. Also I know for a fact they close at 8pm on Sundays. I have been burned by the hours listed on their website. I live near this place and love stopping in for a sandwich ,(I always get the grab-n-go since the deli usually has a long line) some wine or local beer, or just some snacks and soda. I've also bought some shelf grocery items and the prices on those items are marked up, as I'd expect. The wine varies in price but there is always some variety on sale. It's a nice little shop, all said and done. One older lady who works here is particularly nice, and the rest are friendly enough. read more

The market itself is typically well stocked and the help is always personable and friendly. What keeps it from being 5 stars? The deli. From consistently being out of product (sorry, no chicken salad. Sorry, we're out of tuna salad. No, can't make a quesadilla - we're out of chicken. No, no turkey either) to wait times that often exceed 20 minutes even when you are the only customer. Of the last four times we've tried them the sandwiches have been wrong (wrong toppings, only half order and in one case entirely wrong sandwiches) or they've been out of ingredients to make what's on the menu. If the shop relied on the deli alone, I've little doubt they'd have closed long ago. read more

Been going back here a lot. A whole damn lot. My first few visits were all about beer, but now I've found their pizzas too, and holy damn they're good. From personal size to large monsters, they're fresh cooked right before your eyes. Deli sandwiches are awesome here too, fresh, just the way you want. Sooo good too. For some reason convenience stores were scarce around where we were staying and we traveled some to find this one, but this spot has about all your basics and a deli and good craft beers (look for the "beer den") but no hard alcohol. We were able to get a case of water bottles, cups, and a couple six packs (21st amendment watermelon and passion fruit green flash). I think the best part is the fact that they have a deli inside - Boar's Head, and their turkey sandwiches are pretty hefty. There's a parking lot nearby. read more

This is a pretty new place. it's a convenience store, but better than most. The guys are friendly and attentive to customers needs. They have a very good range of beers and all the usual stuff you would find at a convenience store. No Bums or dope boys hanging outside and the place looks and feels much more decent and clean than the choices in the surrounding area. But best of all they have like a mini kitchen that puts out good sandwiches and to-go food! They are located RIGHT NEXT to the King Memorial train station so they are Really convenient!! I agree this is a good place. I had a good experience here, coming back on my bike on the Stone Mountain Trail. I actually took a wrong turn and ended up here, and was dying of thirst. I ended up getting a Fuze fruit drink, as well as a pint of Czech beer to take home. They had a lot of unusual beers for a convenience store, and some wine too. The place is very bright and welcoming, and the clerks were uptempo and nice. It seems to be a new place, and I hope it stays the way it is. read more

I tried to buy a really nice bottle of wine for my son's birthday... he lives in zip code 30312 (Grant Park area)... but these people were too distrusting to even discuss it. That's okay, though.. TOWER 'did' take my order over the phone and made a $49.95 sale on a very nice bottle of wine - they also wrote out a happy birthday message.
