Wanted to come here to use my Starbucks and get some things. Haven't been in about a year or so because it's not the closest to me but it's a nice size. I do like how it's right near a train station so you don't have to drive there. It's right near a food court and hotels too so very convenient. It has two levels and I was greeted and asked if I needed help by some employees which was nice. I asked where an item was and was given a decent response. Place was busy and I got what I came for. The only take away and it's not the stores fault is the people outside the store . This guy was trying to get my attention when he saw me looking around and got rude when I ignored him. read more

I have been using this location for the last several years, and never had a problem until yesterday. I went to pick up some prescriptions, but 2 of them weren't ready, so I waited for about 15 minutes or so and came back to the cashier to pick them up. That's when I was told their system was down and they couldn't finish processing my order. Since I use public transit for the handicapped and I had a few minutes before pickup time, I asked the lady at the counter how long it would take for the system to come back on line and she said it would take 15-20 minutes. Since I had the time, I told her I'd like to wait. After 20 additional minutes, an announcement came over the store's PA system saying that all transactions were cash-only since the store's entire system had crashed. Realizing that I had ample cash to pay for my order, I approached the check-out counter and informed the cashier that I had sufficient funds to pay cash, but she still refused to fill my order. When I protested that I was using para-transit services, and I would have to make a second trip, somebody called out from behind the counter, "Ahhh, he doesn't have a car", and everybody called out from behind the counter, "Ahhhhh" all in unison! I have never in all my 70 years been shown such extreme contempt and disrespect for the elderly and disabled such as myself. I have already moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy, and I will never shop at another CVS ever again. I would strongly advise all others to do the same. read more

This location was in walking distance of my hotel which was clutch. They had everything I needed but not in the quantities I needed. As the shelves were a bit dry. I didn't see any groceries stores in the area so this cvs carried a lot more than I anticipated or really seen from other locations. It's a two story building with entrances and exits on both floors. Not a ton of staff on the floor and when I tried to engage with them they didn't seem too excited. 3 star location. Nothing too special. Location is why I bumped it up from 2 stars. read more

This was my first time at this CVS location. I happened to have some extrabucks I hadn't used that are expiring soon, so I came to check it out during a work trip. This CVS is two stories. Bottom is the basement and top floor goes to street level. After figuring out what to get, I used the self checkout but it was not showing the true sale price. I looked for an employee to help me and the sales associate Derrika was the only one around. She was amazing and helped me at the register. She was able to troubleshoot and figure out why the system was showing the wrong prices pretty quickly. She was also by herself at the moment, had to take a customer call who was rambling on about some issue that has nothing to do with Derrika, and was also actively making sure people around were ok. So my review is mostly for Derrika, she made me experience at this CVS very pleasant and I appreciate her service and dedication without losing her cool. Go Derrika! read more

I don't love the layout of this store as it feels cramped but it's within walking distance to home so it's convenient for a few reasons. UPS sometimes redirects my packages here and it's also where I get rx's filled. When given the option, I used to frequent Walgreens down the street but they've been closed for a few months now. This CVS is split level and the pharmacy and health related merch is at the bottom and package pickup and food/snack stuff is at the top. Aside from that, you can checkout on both levels. It needs a remodel but it'll do in a pinch. read more

At the risk of sounding like a Karen...this was a rough experience. My husband forgot his deodorant at home and we wound up here looking for a stick. This CVS is pretty big and it took us a while to find the right product. When we did, we discovered the deodorant sticks were all kept behind a locked glass door. There was a button you could ring for assistance. We pushed the button; a call went out over the store. Waited two minutes, no sign of anyone -- pushed the button again. Repeat this 3x, still no sign of anyone -- been standing around for about 8 minutes. Husband goes to the check out area to verbally ask for assistance. The staff member sort of rolled her eyes at him and said she'd come "once she got the line under control." There were 3 people in line. Husband returns to me, we stand around and wait another 5-8 minutes. No sign of anyone. Husband goes to the front to look for the girl he asked for help. She's still checking folks out (none of whom had been in line the first time he went to ask) but made eye contact and nodded. Husband comes back, we stand around ANOTHER 5 minutes. He goes back up to the register to find not one, but two employees...with no one in the check out line, both employees sitting there on their phones. At his request, one of them huffily got up and walked veryyyyy slowly to help us. She fiddled with the keys and the lock for a few minutes before stating that the key didn't work and husband would have to reach around beneath the glass pane of the door that she could unlock to reach the particular deodorant he wanted. Then she tried the lock one more time and it opened -- guess she just didn't know how to really use the key, lol. Idk, we got what we needed eventually, but it was a SUPER frustrating, needlessly long, inconsiderate experience overall. The rest of it I can mostly excuse -- I really do try to be patient and I get that the job is thankless and frustrating -- but having two free employees sit idly on their phones instead of going to help the person they'd agreed to help is a little too much for me to not get annoyed. read more

I gave them 2 stars, but wow what a mess of a store. The shelves were a mess and empty, the carpets are filthy, the elevator is urine soaked and the entire store is discussing. I recommend the Walgreens nearby so excellent and clean and fully stocked. read more

I'm traveling here from NY and I must say I have NEVER experienced customer service like this. As I was shopping, Tay approached me and my sister and asked if we needed help looking for anything (we did). She helped us find every product we needed. Tay's energy was AMAZING! She was insanely helpful and kind. Although I've purchased everything I needed from here, I'd just want to go back and say hi to her. If I was her manager I'd give her a raise or promotion. On this particular Monday evening it was open until 10:00pm. Staff were very nice. Security guard outside is a good idea because the super short walk from the Ritz Carleton was ahhh... adventurous. This CVS is located close to my hotel and it's a part of the Hub mall as well. It looks like it is undergoing some type of remodeling. Staff is friendly - more so than the ones in SF. There are 2 levels to this store with most of the medicine and pre-packaged food items (e.g. sandwiches) downstairs and most other things upstairs. Upstairs is also where you'll find a large selection of travel items. The store is clean and well stocked. They have self check-out lanes available on both levels. Wow, this here is a 'uuuuuge CVS pharmacy (heh). Makes for a very close walk to some of downtown's biggest hotels and conference centers. I happened to be in the area for a couple of conferences back to back so became very well acquainted with this pharmacy. Not that I was picking up prescriptions but just making sure I had some water to stay hydrated! Ok ok, so I know that single use bottles should really be minimized but I didn't bring my water bottle and I was looking for sparkling water. Some may call me "unique" in that respect but I don't know... maybe just European of me. This place is at least 2 stories. I haven't really counted myself because I would have gotten lost if I went any further into the store. I got myself all the drinks I needed and given that it's about 2 blocks from the Hilton, I didn't have to fret about having to go back. Quick check out especially if you know how to use a self service check out (believe it or not, there are plenty of people who stand dumbfounded at the prospect of doing everything yourself). Granted sometimes these machines malfunction but I had a good experience! read more

This is a great CVS! I stopped by here yesterday after checking out Americasmart and was pleasantly surprised by the layout and friendliness of the staff. I was a little miffed at the sluggishness of the suitcase-carrying customers inside, but there was enough space for me to quickly weave around them and their jet-lag. This CVS is also equipped with Self Checkout kiosks, something that I'm not used to seeing at the locations on my side of town. The kiosks were supervised by two very friendly and helpful store associates who encouraged me to check out with them, as opposed to the regular cashiers. The associate politely took my items and rung me up as if that was her register, and it was quick and easy. I'll definitely be back whenever I visit Downtown again! read more

Eh, I have experienced much better. The CVS was the closest place to our hotel in the downtown area to get a few items I forgot and/or needed for my stay. I will say that my walk to the CVS from the Hyatt was a bit frightening. I was powerwalking the whole time just so I could get in and out. The CVS wasn't much better once I got inside. All of the staff is always friendly. I've never met a rude employee at CVS, and I visited been many, many times. The employees work very hard to make sure all customers get through the line quickly, and they will help direct people to the self-checkout booths when needed. Because it's in the Peachtree Center, the store will get very busy at times (lunchtime, DragonCon, etc.), but I've never seen an employee lose their cool. I really appreciate the staff there. This CVS is divided into two levels. The pharmacy and all medical supplies are on the bottom floor. The second floor has food, cleaning, greeting cards, makeup, and other things. There are some parking garages around, but most customers come on foot from the Peachtree Center, AmericasMart, or nearby restaurants. There is bike parking outside near the MARTA station. read more

We didn't feel too safe going in and out in the first place... several unsavory characters were hanging about... but then they were charging crazy prices IMO. They were charging something like 5 to 6 bucks for a regular sized bottle of saline (not multi-purpose solution). I'm from Hawaii... everything in HI is expensive... Lost my passport and had to get one in a hurry - the same day. Had read on yelp that there is a CVS across from the passport office that did pictures for ones passport. The reviewer did not mention the cost. It was $17.00!!!!!!!!! I had stopped at my local Costco earlier only to find that they no longer did passport photos. They had charged $4.99. A gentleman who was also there to get his passport was also incensed at the outrageous fee. They know they got ya and they take full advantage. If you need to get passport photos, please go elsewhere. Anywhere would be cheaper than here. Rip off! read more

Downtown Atlanta is not cheap, and if you're one of the oodles of people visiting or working here, chances are you will at some point be desperate to purchase life's necessities (or Claritin) for less money than (insert hotel name here) wants. CVS is a good place to start, and its open 24/7. It's not unlike most CVS' in the city; resembles a bodega the way so much selection is lined up on so many shelves, and I've never not seen a cop in or near it, on the flip side, yes, its downtown, there's homeless people around, get over it. Aside from being convenient (an escalator ride away from the train and a cornerstone of Peachtree Mall (another gem)) I think its fun to actually go to this CVS and just shop. They have all the goofy stuff a typical drugstore has which, being downtown for over a month now I realized I kinda missed, like Atlanta fridge magnets and Hawks swag. More importantly though they probably have your deodorant. I paid $5 for a stick of mine, but the alternatives were round trip train rides ($2.50 ea.) or two Übers to one of the nearby Publix ($5-$7 ea.,) or pay $8 for a tiny stick of ladies' anti perspirant at the Marriott. So, CVS for the win! Not to stray too far off topic, but there's a nice little hot dog stand outside, and some other cool easter eggs in the "mall" downstairs that offer reasonably priced food and services as well as some neat vantage points and prime people watching spots. I like the convenience of having CVS located close to work. The employees are friendly and helpful and The store is clean. However it does not have the best selection Of products compared to the Emory CVS. But if you are looking to quickly pick up a few items after or before work, then this CVS will work. Parking is a problem. There is parking garage down the street. However most customers are employees of the immediate area. read more

Rare is a place where you walk in and your greeted with a friendly smile and asked "may I help you". Well I was greeted not once but 5 times by different employees on different aisles. We are in Atlanta for a convention and needed a few small items to tide us over till a trip to a bigger store was needed. I am impressed with this downtown location!! While it isn't as large as a stand alone CVS, it has a lot of basics and then some. We got almost everything we needed, and prices weren't over inflated due to the location. That was the biggest plus of all!! I used my savings card from my phone and saved $15. The workers were very friendly and didn't fuss about the store. The only thing we needed that wasn't there was half and half for our morning coffee. read more

In a pinch, this store will do.My review is solely based on the appearance of the store and the availability of the products I needed. It is 24 hours and that's why this is a 2-star review. Because it is located in the Peachtree Center and is connected to major hotels I assume that's why it was completely bare on many shelves. There were several conferences all happening at once. I went there on a Wednesday and many of the cold foods area and drinks were completely empty (a were some of the snack areas on the upstairs level). I came back a couple days later and the store was still just as empty. The medications and items like that were fully stocked. So I guess if you are having a medical need this is the place for you. Which I suppose is the real purpose of a CVS in the first place. But the snacks are a bonus (when available). Last year I stayed in a hotel connected to this facility for a conference and the store was not in shambles like it was this year. Not sure what happened here.
