We've used 40 Acres Tree service now for over 10 years. 8 jobs done perfectly. They've removed some…read morehuge trees, ground our stumps, opened up a ¼ acre of heavily wooded area, graded the soil and now that area is a lawn with more back yard, they removed an oil tank when we converted to gas and more! They do it all! Keep in mind they are not a huge company with a large crew or a big overhead of heavy construction and tree equipment, but, then again, they won't quote you even close to what the local Tree Services will. In previous quotes, we found their estimate was substantially less (~40-50%) then other quotes we got from a tree service right near us. If they lag in response, please understand, again, they're a small company trying to do big things for you. Every job as been perfect in execution and cleanup. The owner and foreman want you to be happy with his work so you, likeu, keep coming back to him for more jobs. Before you commit to that expensive estimate form another tree service, please consider giving 40 acres tree service a try! 5 Stars, and never a complain!

I hired this contractor to do a drywall job in my house that had had some flood damage. He had two…read moremonths to do what was about a 5 day job. I have to say this has been my worst experience with a contractor ever. Can Jason do a good job, in terms of him doing the drywall/mudding , yes, he did for the first day on the job, of course that was the day he got paid the first two payments, after that it went downhill fast. I wanted everything done in XP (water/mold resistant), he brought regular drywall so that had to be taken back. One thing he appears to actually have never read a materials datasheet. Had he have done he would have done the ceiling in 5/.8" as my ceiling is 16" o.c., but he just did it in 1/2", so there may be a problem in the future, I didn't realize this until I read a datasheet to do another job months after. After the first 1 1/2 days he disappeared not to be heard of until I finally called him two weeks later, after that he would bring a crew for like an hour or two in the morning now and then, always after I had called. Worse than that, the crew he brought would be a couple of young guys, who had no idea what they were doing and I discovered had just been hired and this was their first building job. The guys worked hard but the work was done very poorly, also the guys get to breath all the silica dust, I offered them dust-masks but they seemed uninterested. In the end I had to work evenings and weekends to fix the screw ups and finish areas he never got to. I had a schedule with renters coming in. Close to the rental day he just never showed up at a promised data again and that was the last time I heard from him. I had to work into the night hours to ready and get it ready to paint but I didn't do a great job and his poor work, particularly corners and finishing are there for anyone to see if they look closely. I would never recommend you use him, since i am not a drywall / tape 'n mud expert it took me a long time to fix and most of the poor workmanship like bad corners I had no time to fix. I have everything documents in pictures and video if he should challenge the accuracy of this review. This job was a disaster and its the last time I will use a drywall contractor.
