I had a wonderful experience with Victoria. I went in with extremely tight neck and back muscles. Victoria was very welcoming and calming. She explained what she was doing as the massage went on and helped me to relax the tension in my muscles. The atmosphere and overall vibe was sooting and relaxing! Tonight I had a massage with victoria. I was amazed at the talent behind her fingers. I will definitely be booking my next massage with her as she knew exactly all my trigger spots, and this was the first time I had her do a massage on me. I truly believe that if you need relaxation breakdown of your muscles or just an altogether good feeling, you need to go to this place. read more

Rebecca Denton is a goddess. No seriously. I have been to multiple massage therapists. Rebecca is incredible. Technique, personality, ambience etc I cannot say enough. She is so knowledgeable and offers SO many services. I actually started going to her because I saw she offered ear candling and I was too chicken to try it at home. Instantly I fell in love (not in a weird way, I swear). She offers reiki, deep tissue, Swedish massage, ear candling, energy balancing and more. Her website is very informative regarding services offered and my favorite part- ONLINE scheduling. Anyway! She has a few massage therapists employed. I have heard great things about Cheri and she has always been super kind when I came in. Rebecca is my go-to but I can confidently recommend Erin as well! She has great technique, very sweet and knowledgeable. Seeing someone new for massage can be intimidating, your meeting them then getting (mostly) naked two minutes later- but I was immediately at ease and informed of how she worked, which way to start out laying, and if I had any questions or needed a different pressure to let her know. I was going through a lot the day I got my massage. I've had many massages but Danette was 100% hands down the best. She made me feel so comfortable and calm. Simply amazing. Both myself and my son enjoyed a wonderful massage here. We both left feeling relaxed and refreshed, physically and mentally. I attribute that to Rebecca and her staff. I found Rebecca to be an incredibly skilled massage therapist and an extremely warm, caring professional during my visit. Her devotion to her craft shines in her, and her staff. She is also very mindful of Covid protocols, so I would have no concerns visiting her again for a massage or similar treatment. I will definitely be back soon! read more

Established in 1997.

Intuitive Touch was established in 1997 by Rebecca Denton. The business has gone through many changes. At first it was an office in Rebecca's home, then an outcall service and now is located in a professional office in Lapeer just minutes away from downtown, M24 and I69. Rebecca still works as a therapist at Intuitive Touch, but is now joined by a few other skilled massage therapists as well. We strive to provide a vast variety massage and holistic services at one location that is quiet, professional and handicapped accessible. Our goal is to create a relaxed environment where the heart connects with the hands in order to provide support in healing.

Meet the Business Owner: Rebecca D.

Rebecca has always had an interest in helping others and also in the way energy moves within and around the body. In the mid nineties she took a short class in massage at a local massage school. There she found out that she could learn basic relaxation massage techniques, subtle energy techniques and corrective measures to possibly reduce certain pain patterns. She began to go to school and continued for six years, graduating with not only a basic therapuetic massage diploma, but also with the advanced practitioner diploma and finally the master bodywork diploma. Rebecca enjoyed this field so much she taught at the massage school for two years, and has continued to teach certain workshops since 1999. In 2014 Rebecca wrapped up her education with a Bachelor's degree from Siena Heights University majoring in massage therapy. Rebecca enjoys meeting new people and connecting on a personal level. She enjoys learning about the body and the energy system and helping when she can.

I was very specific on what I was looking for in my massage OVER 40 YEARS of PAYING FOR professional massages, & spa treatments I have never been so disappointed, frustrated and frazzled as I was when I left that place ! THE MASSAGE WAS YUCK Long lapses in between TOUCH,, jolted movements, used only elbow and forearm. No real techniques used very chilled feeling . I hurt worse getting off at bed than I did getting on it . !!! Just added tension . It was just elbow and arm downward movements. No flow no relaxing techniques. Not Paying for service you're paying for nonsense!

In the beginning, I was having a lot of difficulty with my neck, and my back because of a sciatica issue & a bulge in a disk by my spine. Which actually was diagnosed years ago causing pinched nerves into my neck. So the deals I've gotten by buying more than one massage at a time gave me the opportunity to see her more often. Let me tell you, that first year I was trying to work on my health all around so I started hiking and walking and discovered my posture was bad too! Those massages coming every 3 months was a major benefit for me, although I should've been going once a month at that time. It was crazy how getting those massages always fixed things and loosened up very tight muscles. To this day I'm still going for an hour massage every 3 months-there's been time when I'm feeling like I don't need to go but I do & it's a good thing! Now at least when I go I'm not in the terrible shape I was before, but there's always a great massage that works out alot of stuff I'm not feeling like I used to(if that makes sense!) Monica has used cupping on me in the past, that was great also. She is a very nice person, knows what she's doing, and although their place is small, it's just her and her mom-they do great massage.. She even now has 90 minute massages you can get. So there are 30, 60, and 90 minute ones. Getting ready for my upcoming appointment in March & looking forward to it. I don't know what I'd do if I never came across her through friends years ago at Salon 101 in downtown Lapeer! My migraines have gotten better too. Check them out. Cute little place in the Lyric Mall. Appointments are best.

She used a brush instead of a wide tooth comb & violently ripped through my hair. She faced me away from the mirror the entire time she cut it so I couldn't see what she was doing. There was also some guy who came into her station & stood right next to me, asking her questions about perms for like 10 minutes. She barely dried it & then charged $30. That's $30 for just the cut. No wash, no style. The haircut was so terrible I cried in the parking lot & then went to The Ritz. I walked in & the owner saw my hair, said she wanted to fix it & then did so free of charge. My hair looks amazing now thanks to The Ritz & I will not be returning to Salon 101.

I had a massage by Danette and i went into this appointment SO anxious. I have had a massage a couple years back and it was so uncomfortable that i never went back to that massage place again! Until I reached Intuitive Touch! Danette was so welcoming, and so kind I was already feeling more confident. As the massage started, she walked me through everything she was going to do and why she was doing it, what it was for and how it would later benefit me! I left Intuitive Touch feeling so relaxed and all of my prior pain was no longer felt anywhere!!! I give danette a 11/10, and I will be returning to Intuitive Touch! read more

I was experiencing severe foot pain in my right foot and after a one hour session with Rebecca the pain began to diminish to the point of nonexistence. Prior to visiting Intuitive touch I had went to a orthopedic doctor who took an x-ray of my foot. The x-ray reveled that I had abrasions in my Achilles tendon and said basically there was nothing he could do. Highly professional and clean massage practice. Danette aptly addressed my chronic lower back/hip pain with deep tissue massage and trigger point alleviation. She was so kind and compassionate.
