We were guest of our cousin and their time share at April Sound. I do not have stories of jet skiing, fishing or golf - I only have a solid review for the community and staff. Security Upon first arriving at April Sound you must go through armed security. BIG CHECK because I did not want to look over my shoulder every time my children wanted to play. Parking You must drive through the homes in the community to reach the condos. When we arrived at the condos I noticed the parking spots are reserved. SUPER DUPER LOVED THAT. No fighting for parking spots. The Units The Units are MASSIVE. Two bedroom, two full baths with a loft for an extra bedroom. It has a full kitchen and walk out patio facing the pool. The Pool My kids played and the adults talked for 4 HOURS. We sat by the pool and ordered from the bar while the kids had a wonderful time. Everyone was super respectful of each other. No bad kids running around the pool and no drunk adults being boisterous. Love the pool. The Community The community is pure peace. Nestle in the large pecan trees, with a golf course and on the lake. #enoughsaid If you want a peaceful and relaxed getaway this is place!!!!

Grounds were well maintained, they were in better condition than the units. Units were clean but outdated ..I felt like I had stepped into the 80's again! Master bedroom doesn't have a shower, it has a jacuzzi tub which after sleeping on the bed You will need it. The bed had to be old as both my husband and I were sore every morning. Second bdroom has 2 twin beds, broken dresser and broken closet doors. Sofa bed springs were broken obviously from wear but seriously it should have been replaced many, many years ago. No activities. There is a pool onsite with what is called an exercise room. All the equipment was broken and the place was dirty, messy and appeared to be "storage" for miscellaneous items.
