On time and very efficient ride to the airport. We wanted to be sure to allow for enough time and they were great.

We took 4 rides with Inverness Taxis during our 10 day trip and had a great experience each time. Reliable, prompt, super easy to book, lovely local drivers, and competitive rates (the same or less than what Uber quoted us)! We researched transportation when planning our trip - apparently Uber hasn't really taken off in the Highlands. You can see prices and try and schedule rides but it always says "no cars available" so you will likely need a taxi at some point. We chose this company based on their high ratings online - especially for trustworthiness and reliability and were not disappointed! Our 1st ride was around 9pm after we landed at the Inverness airport. There's a taxi stand right outside the exit. There were no taxis waiting but there's a sign on the stand with a phone number to call for them if none are waiting. Our driver explained that they actually keep up with all the flight times and usually have taxis waiting but for this date there was some sort of mixup - but it was so easy to call them and get a taxi in less than 10 minutes so no issues there! It took us around 20 minutes to reach our hotel in the city center and it was just under £30. Our 2nd and 3rd rides were to and from nearby Fort George. You can take a local bus but it would take an hour and 15 mins whereas the taxi takes around 20 mins - well worth the price in that situation! On the way there, our driver arranged with us to come back at our preferred time so that made it super easy - I didn't even have to call! Our 4th trip was back to the airport on our way out - and again, it took around 20 minutes and was a tad cheaper since it was daytime and a different rate class - right around £24. This was the one ride that we "pre-booked" the day before and had no issues! Our driver was even a tad early. Great service! Surprisingly they offer a ton of other transportation services as well like grocery delivery, package delivery and they even have minibuses for golf trips! They have an office right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the Inverness City Center - staff are friendly and you can book rides from there - but they were doing some remodeling so we had to use their automated phone scheduling - but it's super easy to use and very reliable. When you call their number, it's an automated service that lets you either call a taxi right away or you can pre-schedule one for a later date and time. And after you call them once, the automated system then recognizes you during subsequent calls! So easy! Their official number in the UK is 01463 222 222.
