Came here on what was unfortunately their last day at this location. The entire property has been sold and is going to be bulldozed, but luckily they are already on the hunt for a new home! I won't touch on the location much since that won't matter going forward, but the tasting room was cute, quaint, and rustic, hoping those vibes transfer over to the new space! I got a tasting and my mom a glass of wine. The tasting consisted of 5 wines when I was in, a white, rosé, and three reds. I enjoyed most of the wines and ended up taking home a bottle of the rosé. If I didn't already have so much at home, I would've gotten some of the other bottles too. Service was very welcoming and friendly, creating a a great environment for tasting. read more

Very comfortable place to be, I tasted 6 different wines and four of them were my favorites. Place is nice and super clean, I always keep on aye on the hygiene. They have live music and is supper comfortable. Service is very kind. They have events with a painter to come and paint while we taste wine . I had tasted their wines at various events around Santa Cruz County and finally had an opportunity to stop in check out their Scotts Valley Tasting Room. I was promptly acknowledged upon entering and sat a nice bar area near the front (I think it had 5-6 seats). The Tasting room is spacious with two rooms and an outdoor patio area. My server was knowledgeable and explained where the wines were grown and a bit of the history behind the winery. She gave in-depth information on how some of the names of the wines were derived; that included the names of employees. I highly recommend the Brut Rose - it was crisp and refreshing with hints of white peach ($58) (80 cases produced). We went as guests of my sister and brother-in-law. Wasn't totally sure what to expect. The inside of the tasting room is quaint, charming, cozy and very clean. We opted to sit outside because the weather was nice and it was equally as charming. The wines were phenomenal. We had a tasting flight which consisted of, a rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot noir, and 2 syrahs. They even gave us an extra sample of their Ramon cabin Sauvignon. My favorite was probably the Cabernet followed by the Syrah then the rosé, but all of them were bright, fresh, old style wines that I absolutely loved. The service is great, they came outside to check on us frequently and to top us off. They were friendly, fun and engaging. I wish I lived closer so I could become a member. read more

Inversion is my wife and my favorite winery in Santa Cruz County these days! First and foremost, the wine is fantastic - complex, and delicately nuanced. Much more akin to the great Old World wines that we love (in comparison to a lot of the mass produced domestic fruit-forward obominations floodding the market these days). Our current favorite is the 2021 Graham Estate Pinot Noir - just picked up a few bottles of it last week. This is about as good as SC Mtn Pinot's get! The tasting room is also great - very friendly and welcoming (not stuffy at all!). The live music and pop up food events are awesome (the japanese yakatori pop-up food recently was excellent!) Can't say enough good things - we joined the wine club and plan to be back regularly! read more

Delightful little tasting room! It's tucked away in a small shopping center just as you enter town, but is very much a hidden gem worth the visit. The ambiance is chic and welcoming inside and the bar staff are very friendly. The winery is family owned and we were helped by friends of the family, so it's a very sweet operation. We were kindly offered to try a few wines before ordering a bottle and really enjoyed them all. All of the reds in particular were fantastic, and the grapes locally sourced. We made short work of our bottle and it made for such a lovely evening. read more

Went to meet up with some friends to catch up so we wanted a quiet evening. Then we were a bit worried after hearing it is a trivia night. But we ended up participating and had a blast. Strangers became very friendly with each other while playing. It was like going to a private party. We could still have a serious conversation without playing if we had chosen not to because it wasn't loud. And the wine (sparkling rosé) was crisp and refreshing, and the servers were very attentive and super friendly, but no pushy sales talk, just courteous and very warm welcome as if we were regulars (first time for all of us). They allow food from outside, so we brought something to nibble on though I think they have some smorgasbords maybe? They had a food truck just out in front that seemed to offer very nice plates. Main room had a nice clean look, small side room had a slightly different look and feel for more intimate gathering, outside was more of very chill vibe. And I liked that it was closed off enough and I wasn't staring into a parking lot. I got the sense that the owners/managers love what they have to offer to their patrons and enjoy what they do. We need more places in SV that offer this kind of vibe. I highly recommend it. read more

Absolutely love this winery!! The wine is delicious, small production and well made. The staff is so welcoming and is friendly, I love coming here and sitting at the bar and chatting with the staff. Little Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz Mountains, Ca has a long and rich winery history. For me, it started with Roudon Smith, Smothers, and Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyand. I think Immersion is the best in the line. it's wines are so food friendly, so easy to sip. they are always clean and well made and accurately represent to grape varieties characteristics. come to the tasting room and you will find old fashioned hospitality and great wines. read more
