We went as guests of my sister and brother-in-law. Wasn't totally sure what to expect. The inside of the tasting room is quaint, charming, cozy and very clean. We opted to sit outside because the weather was nice and it was equally as charming. The wines were phenomenal. We had a tasting flight which consisted of, a rosé, Chardonnay, Pinot noir, and 2 syrahs. They even gave us an extra sample of their Ramon cabin Sauvignon. My favorite was probably the Cabernet followed by the Syrah then the rosé, but all of them were bright, fresh, old style wines that I absolutely loved. The service is great, they came outside to check on us frequently and to top us off. They were friendly, fun and engaging. I wish I lived closer so I could become a member.

We love the people, atmosphere, live music, and of course the wine! Everyone is always friendly and helpful, the outdoor area picnic tables are great for socializing and listening to the live music, and the wine is perfectly chilled. Inversion is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend afternoon. Highly recommended!!!

We have been a member at Inversion for over a year. In addition to the amazing wines that they produce, we love coming to the tasting room to pick up our shipment or enjoying the sunshine and music on their patio during their events. The folks here are the sweetest around and always make sure you are well taken care of!

I've taught a couple of paint-and-sip classes at Inversion and I absolutely love the space, wine and staff. It's a charming location with a cute little patio and a great vibe. Definitely an asset to Scott's Valley's offering of restaurants and wine bars. Highly recommend!

We're Santa Cruz mountain passport members. Stopped for a tasting. Lovely quaint indoor venue and outdoor seating area! Fun vibe. Can bring your own food, too. Minutes from the 17.

This was our first time at Inversion Wines and it did not disappoint. From the easy-going live music, to a well balanced wine flight, this is a great stop for anyone looking for a relaxed Sunday activity.

I think reservations are required these days, but they're very easy to do online. The seating is in a nice outdoor area in the redwoods overlooking the ocean. A great setting and all of the wines we tried were good as well. Grapes aren't grown on site but are mostly sourced locally which is cool. We enjoyed everything so we were happy to purchase a few bottles. To sweeten the pot they apply your tasting fee to bottle purchase. It's really a no brainier to leave with a wine or two. They're priced pretty reasonably and it's nice supporting a local wine maker.

Made us feel a little unwelcome. Then towards then end I'm not sure if we've been spoiled by every other vineyard but she didn't ask if we wanted to re visit any of the wines we tried. Was only asked if we would like to purchase any bottles. We asked if we could try a wine that wasn't on the flight and unfortunately they didn't have an open one. No worries but still wasn't offered anything else. Was a very relaxing experience would maybe come back it's just minor details. Overall had a fine time. To sum it up quickly the wine overall was I'd say a 7.5 out of 10. Some good, others were a bit mute but not bad.

Instead of casually ordering from one location, you're handed a map, transforming the experience into a wine-themed scavenger hunt. It's like Where's Wino? But rather than simply being served, you might have to chat with someone, where you can either pretend to know things about wine ("Mmm, this one's red!" or "Ah, it has...grape notes") or really take the conversation off-road, diving into deep topics like their grandparents, tattoos, skincare, pets --it helps if your mind is like magnetic poetry-- as I print the email addresses of my co-workers on their mailing lists. (Enjoy the biweekly 10% off tasting coupons, Mr. Green.) Plus, each stop brings a fresh vibe. You're not stuck in one place. Each store is an Easter egg hunt for snacks as you sip among quirky socks, pet sweaters, and art that could double as motel bedspreads. Plus, you get your steps in. And, the event is on a three-hour timer if you want to catch every last drop of chardogrigio (I never rinse my glass), adding a sense of ticking-clock urgency to the fun. Compared to other wine walks, this one had only 12 locations, far less than half of what is offering from Los Gatos (my favorite), Campbell, Saratoga, and Willow Glen, so you may have to put on fake mustaches and hats to make some unsanctioned return stops.

Cute, small, intimate tasting room. Beautiful art work visible as you enter. Classy! And a sweet welcoming smile from Charmaine who was front and center behind the counter as we entered. Feeling good vibes already. I explained my long time enjoyment of the Storrs wines... being introduced to them when I began my love of Santa Cruz and my many trips there. The area restaurants, of course, carry the Storrs wines. Which is where I first encountered these great tasting wines. We selected a table in the front of the tasting room. A lovely, peaceful setting under trees with autumn red and gold leaves. Perfect! It was a weekday and no one else was tasting. Late September... such a perfect time to visit. Leisurely tasting. Awesome! Charmaine was well informed of everything about the wines and owners. Husband and wife met at UC Davis in the Oenology Department. The rest is history. I tasted the flagship, so- to-speak, Chardonnay and a fabulous Sauvignon Blanc which were so gooood. But also two, soon-to-be-released, reds which were beyond lovely. Tasting note descriptions included of the wines I tasted (photo). Storrs has also opened a much larger venue for tasting a few miles south of Santa Cruz. Outdoorsy! Next trip I will be checking that out for sure! In the meantime, I will be enjoying my wine purchases from this great visit! Thank you, Charmaine, for an unforgettable afternoon. And yes, a couple of bottles of wine left with me!:) Cheers!

She seated us out in the back and it was really cute. She told us about the birds and all the little nature things around that we should enjoy while we were there. This made it a nicer experience, as it was sort of industrial... Not in a bad way... in a old fashioned Urban redevelopment kind of way. It was interesting. She was very knowledgeable about the wine and the owners and how they had built their business and we enjoyed learning all of that. It was a very nice experience and story. We enjoyed the wines that we tasted, and when we left, the tasting room was full. It seems like many people know about this winery and frequent it often. I recommend a stop at Storrs. It's unique!
