I did not have a very good experience at Invis. After my initial meeting with them, I did not hear back for weeks, which is ok as I was still working with my bank and was mainly looking for a backup. When I did hear back they were very unhappy to learn that I was not proceeding with them. Lots of attitude and anger, frankly I was surprised by the unprofessionalism. read more

I didn't have a great experience with this company. Sharon was great on the first visit, and told me after a few days that I was approved for a mortgage and to go shopping. When I found the home I wanted to put an offer in on, she told me that she hadn't in fact got all my paperwork etc. It was a very stressful experience for me. I had to go to a broker and not directly to the bank but I still needed to get my $6500 penalty from a previous mortgage I paid off. I made it very clear to Sharon at Invis that I had to go with Scotiabank to get my penalty back. Never was I given option, never was I told by Sharon that it would have to be a certain type of mortgage to get my penalty back. I had to jump through hoops to get the mortgage (have dealt with scotiabank mortgages for 30 years) After a very stressful few weeks I got the mortgage but no penalty back. I find them to be very unprofessional and un-organized, asking us to resend papers that we had sent twice before, asking my realtor to resend papers..... I would never recommend or ever use again. read more
